I rather leave a few characters to collage like randy, glory, Debra. So when we get to collage time we can have some new and unique friends to include.

Then leave out MJ, Gwen and Harry #616

I'd prefer seeing characters like Whitman, Liz, and Flash get more time than just repeating and just isolating Peter's group of friends to the Gwen/Harry/MJ stuff we've seen twice already. To be fair, I the early films were structured in such a way that you didn't need to have the idea of a "Breakfast club" group of friends since they were mainly focused on the romantic or romantic triangle angle as opposed to the idea of teenagers growing up together.

But, If you think of films like The Breakfast club or even the Potter films, there may have been three main characters the stories focused on, but there were also several other supporting characters who sort of made up a group of friends and classmates.

That's where characters like Liz, Flash, and Whitman have alot to offer in giving Peter newer experiences and story potential instead of being locked into the same story beats that the other films have done. Of course some characters could have more screen time and bigger roles than others , but if they're going with the HS Peter, i'd like to see alot more variety and interactions with his group of friends/classmates this time around , than just the same 2 or 3 we've had before .

I'm pretty sure that's the way they'll probably go anyway, but which characters they use or won't use who haven't be used yet, is anyone's guess. I wouldn't be surprised if Felicia ends up there just because that's a character they've been trying to exploit for years and in different franchises, but its anyone's guess.

Any suggestions for Black Cat? Not including Anna Sophia Robb or Chloe Mortez.

Notso I just said we don't need to have randy, glory, Debra also in hs setting. I still rather stick gwen, harry, mj, liz, sally, flash and kong for hs. And leave those others and more for new friends to add in once collage hits. No reason every one should be in hs too. But who knows.

I would like this, something more like Spectacular Spider-Man. Have Liz be the lead female for the trilogy and bring in MJ as a friend eventually. Maybe save Gwen and Harry for college is this Spider-Man series makes it that far. But definitely have Flash, Rand, Kenny, Liz, Sally and characters that haven't been fully used or explored as the hs supporting cast.

Dude not meaning to sound like a know it all or grammar freak, it's collEge. But I agree, show that peter can make other friends away from people he went to high school with.

I hope they don't make Felicia HS age :barf:

I could see Zoe Kravitz playing her myself. Other than her I can't think of anybody.

Hey autocorrect put the a there. But ya that is what I was getting at. I rather see a variety of friends come and go over course of hs, college, and adulthood. So I don't want everyone brought in or aged down to hs. I want to leave a few for college and later in life. I also agree I don't want felicia in hs or right now. Her, debra, maybe randy and glory save for collage time.

Felicia should not even be in high school or college, in my opinion. The thing with her is she only knew Spider-Man and not peter parker, was it in Ultimate she nearly throws up when she finds out he's just a teenager?

Yea I definitely don't want Felicia to be in HS with them or around their age she should be college level. Before they cast Holland and I thought O'Brien would be Spider-Man I wanted Amber Heard for Black Cat.

Liz and Sally

I don't think so. Gwen was a smart cookie in the books.

I never got the impression that 616 Gwen was more intelligent than Parker though. In the ASM movies Gwen was clearly smarter than Peter, as this was pushed in our faces on several occasions. In SSM, Gwen seemed more like Debra Whitman (TAS) to me, both in appearance and personality.

I want high school Parker to be a loner anyway. He should be focused more on his future and his Spider-man career. Only in college after he comes out of his shell should we see his more sociable side.

Peter was dumbed down in TASM though

In the TASM series it seemed to me that Peter and Gwen were equals when it came to intelligence.

There's alot of little things seeded into Raimi's that imply Peter is a genius in the making. I need to rewatch but it seemed like Peter was smart only after he was bitten in tasm. The scene where he learns about magnets from a youtube video definitely doesn't help his case.

Yeah. I liked that. How they were both equal in that department. It made them a really good team, not just the usual BF/GF dynamic, or just a "strong" female character who tries to dominate the male over something he can't do as a man that we often see. Despite the movies' faults, Peter and Gwen, Andrew and Emma's pairing was great.
