^overall not bad...i would rather not have jean brought back. Emily blunt would be an awesome emma frost. and phillipe is too old for angel. foster didnt get a fair crack at him.

^ I don't see Blunt as Emma either I have always been a fan of Uma Thurman as Emma or Ali Larter.
And I would have rather either never had Famke as Jean or never have James as Scott because there is a clear age difference, she just looks older than him by more than a few.
And why not bring Jean Back it would actually help to include and expand upon the powers of the pheonix and how it is able to heal and revive from the dead...just don't have her be evil in this one.
And for the last time Angela Basset is too old! I would like to see Gabriel Union or paula Patton but Halle could come back as well.

I thought they could have found better. She looked waaay older than all of them. And I don't find her very hot. Isn't Jean supposed to be? Didn't much see what Logan and Scott were fighting about there.

Its funny how Singer cast all the men in the movie perfectly but really F'd up on the female casting (rogue, storm, & Jean)....I think Shawn Ashmore was wrong for Bobby Drake too.

Storm: Kerry Washington, she has proven herself to be one of the best younger actresses of today, she could carry the accent with no problem watch 'The Last King of Scotland', and she definately can have a commanding presence to her.

Jean: Scarlet Johanssen, I know that people like to suggest her for every comic book role under the sun but she is Jean Grey to me she is the cute girl next door with a crazy/witty intelligence. If I was casting for the original (2000) movie my number one choice would be Kate Winslet.

Rogue: Hmm, she's a hard one...who ever is cast as her must have the ability to come off strong yet very vulnerable at the same time. I think I would give Neve Campbell a shot she comes across as some one who can do that with chracters in movies like "Wild Things" and "Scream".

Jean: I said in my earlier post that I would cast Kate Winslet as Jean her acting ability is amazing and when she has red hair Kate just strikes me as Jean.

Rogue: Neve Campbell, she to me would make an amazing Rogue just by looking at characters shes played in the past, in 2000 she looked young enough to be cast. She'd be great now too.

Storm: She's really tough to cast so I'm not quite sure...I would probably go with a little known actress, definately not Halle Berry, she's a good actress just not for Storm, I don't hate her as Storm she just does alright. And my reason for not saying Angela Bassett is that she was offered the role but turned it down because she didn't like the script (she is a fan of Storm and didn't like how the character was handeled). But if it was up to me I would definately have gotten her. Actresses like Garcelle Beauvais and Vivica A. Fox come to mind as well.

And While Rogue could have been written better Anna Paquin just doesn't come across as Rogue she's too soft way too soft I wouldn't even believe Anna if they had written Rogue like she is in the comics, she is like Halle Berry, she is good for the way the character was written in the Films but in a "faithful" adaption she would never work.

Seriously, she was too old for the role before she was even cast in the role, and that was 10 years ago.

Watch True Blood.... Anna can EASILY play rogue. She was just never given the chance due to poor writing.

she's sassy and southern... thats all you really need acting wise to play rogue.... that and anna is a pretty good actress, she was just never able to be rogue in the movies
