If I were doing S6 I would go with the rumored Spiderman teaming up against a larger threat basic idea but I'd change it up. I'd have a mysterious threat which is taking out an established Spiderman's foes one by one , i.e. the members of the sinister six and targeting Peter's inner circle. The Public and the Police begin to think Spiderman has gone rouge and Peter knows he's being framed by someone who's not only taking out his rivals but targeting him personally. In the end Spiderman would team up with the surviving members being Doc Ock and Vulture to take on the threat. In the end , I'd have the threat be Kraven who would be more akin to the Predator as opposed to just some big game hunter. He would be more systematic and He would have hunted each of Spiderman's foes and learned who to take them down and play on there weaknesses with his ultimate goal of taking down Spiderman himself by first learning his identity , targeting his loved ones, then taking him down. He would be a true physical and yet tactical threat, a bit like Bane but much more stealth and without trying to destroy the city.
