Sequels Cast the X-Men Universe

Kelly Hu didnt she already play Deathstrike

I know this is a reboot but still

I could care less if she was deathstrike, I want her for Psylocke

I could have liked Kelly as Psylocke, but I've accepted that it's not going to happen. I just don't like Maggie for Psylocke. I would much rather have someone else. I have no idea who else just someone better.

I'm sorry dudes, but after seeing this pic:

maggie_q_nikita_poster_0710.jpg

Maggie Q = Psylocke

Yesssss! So it wasn't me who thought she was channeling Psylocke here...

I haven't seen Maggie Q in much, so I can't say she would be a good Psylocke or not, but what little I've seen of Nikita, I really do like her in that role!

All right. Enough about Psylocke.

I have a question: Who should play Hope Summers?

Dakota Fanning? Or maybe the girl who played Jean in X3, just to drive fanboys nuts.

Maggie Q does look perfect (physically anyway) for Psylocke.

Daniel Day-Lewis would make an awesomely brilliant Mr Sinister.

All right.

I'd switch herd and lily, might as well have a real red head for Jean, and a brunette for Rogue.

Well, I think Evangeline Lilly is a red-head, isn't she. Plus, we can dye her hair red in case. Besides, Lilly's good at playing conflicted characters, good for when the character winds up being taken over by the Phoenix Force.

As for Amber Heard, watch Drive Angry. Lesbian or not, that's Rogue as far as I'm concerned. And here's a shot of her as a brunette, by the way.

Good Pyro suggestion there Marvelcomix, Love that you kept the nationality.

I know I can be accused of fan casting here (casting people from sci fi shows that noones really heard of) but I do love Georgia Moffat as Jean Grey...

I think HHH can be pretty funny (not slapsticky), charismatic, and threatening in the role of Sabretooth. Just look at his performance in Blade Trinity. Also, the guy is 6'3 1/2", so he's taller than Christian Kane.

And we can definitely dye Lilly's hair red.

Wow, a nice fancast, QWoods. Sure, they're obvious, but I like them. Here's my take.

- Brandon Routh doesn't strike me as a serious actor. Right now, he might be perfect as Wonder Man or one of the various SHIELD agents.
- Even though Aisha is tall, she's more of a funny woman than a serious actress.
- Switch Elisha Cuthbert and Amber Heard around.
- There's a rather huge age gap between your choices for Colossus and Shadowcat. The characters are the same age. I think Joe Mangianello would be good as Sabretooth, while Armie Hammer would make for a good Colossus.
- I really think Ian Somerholder would make a better Deadpool than Gambit.
- I actually thought of Pierce Brosnan as Magneto before I heard that he was being tossed around. Perfect choice.
- Love your choices for the Maximoff twins. But what do you think of Rosie Huntington-Whitley as Scarlet Witch? I threw Rosie's name in a list of actors/actresses who I wanted to see cast, and axelbratoski threw her in as Wanda Maximoff. Very good choice if we're going the Ultimate route (Wanda in Earth-1610 is 5'9", like Rosie).
- I've got Nathan Jones as Juggernaut as well.
- I've got a good suggestion for Cable: Dolph Lundgren. He's just 3" short of nailing Cable's actual height.
- I bet MistressKizuna helped inspire you to cast Nina Dobrev as X-23. That's who I'm gonna use for a future fancast.
- Michael Clarke Duncan is too overused in fancasts as Apocalypse. I'm going original: Dennis Haysbert.
- Whoa, Malese Jow as Jubilee. Now you're using your noodle.
- You know what? Seeing as Liam Hemsworth is 6'4 1/2", he might be just as good a fit for Colossus as Armie Hammer. Especially since he's not from around here, and that'd be key.

The rest of your cast is good. I suggest you sign up to ************** and create a fan article, then throw this whole cast on an article.

Also, cast some of the Marauders as well.

thanks MarvelComix85, I'm already on ************** as BlackCat1 check out my other fancast and I'll be putting up my X-Men improved X-Men fancast soon I just haven't had the time.

-Yes Michael Clarke Duncan is overused lol, I'm going to check out Dennis Hyasbert.
-I'm a big Vampire Diaries fan so that's where Nina = X-23 came from as well as Malese Jow = Jubilee.
-Yeah I have Michelle Trachtenberg for Shadowcat and she would fit better next to Manganiello I'm thinking. I just wanted to try something different and see what people thought when I put Lucy Hale up there. I actually have Lucy for Spider-Girl.

In this picture she looks more like Kitty Pryde but I want Lyndsey Fonesca (she plays Alex in Nikita) to play X-23.

And he may be a little old now but Johnny Messner would make a great Wolverine

All right, here's my cast list for a brand new X-Men universe, directed by J.J. Abrams.

X-MEN

Professor X - Colm Feore
I hear his name come up quite a bit on **************.com. Alot of people used him. So I think he'd be perfect.

Cyclops - Tahmoh Penikett
He's played characters similar to Cyclops, like Helo in Battlestar Galactica and Paul Ballard in Dollhouse. Plus, he has the chin.

Iceman - Shia LaBeouf
Lou Stevens, Kale Brecht, Sam Witwicky, Jerry Shaw... almost all his characters are like Iceman. The guy has strong comic timing, and is a very great dramatic actor as well. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Angel - Cam Gigandet
He's played rich folks before, so this is a walk in the park.

Jean Grey - Claire Danes
She's had red hair before in Terminator: Rise of the Machines. Plus, she's a very animated actress, and her intense acting in said movie is almost ideal for how she'd handle the Phoenix Force.

Beast - Keifer Sutherland
I don't know if he's played genius doctors before, but his voice is what I see coming out of Beast. And he's great at playing villains, so that's a plus when the character becomes part of Apocalypse's Horsemen.

Storm - Zoe Saldana
She's done accents before, and she looks like the ideal Storm.

Wolverine - Christian Kane or Tom Hardy
It's a photo finish between these two. They both have fighting experience, are short in stature, and played brooding heroes.

Nightcrawler - Milo Ventimiglia
Hey, join the crowd I guess.

Colossus - Armie Hammer
6'5", young, and talented. Now he just needs to adopt a Russian accent and beef up more, and we've got a Colossus.

Shadowcat - Joanna "JoJo" Levesque
I got a look at her Twitter photos, and I've fell in love with her more than ever. Also, she's a very good actress as well (Aquamarine), adept at humor and sweetness. Plus, she's young enough to play the love interest of Armie Hammer's Colossus.

Emma Frost - Tricia Helfer
Even if she's starred with Tahmoh Penikett, she didn't star ALONGSIDE him. She's got the personality of Emma, and the body as well.

Rogue - Amber Heard or Vanessa Ferlito
This is a tough pick between the two. I seen Amber in Drive Angry and she had the personality of Rogue down to a T. However, I'm told she's 100% lesbian, so I don't know how it'd work with her and my choice for Gambit. But Vanessa Ferlito is another story; she adopted a southern belle accent in Man of the House, and has a very fierce, bad-ass, and sarcastic personality needed for the role. And she's the same age as my choice for Gambit. Either way, it's a photo finish.

Gambit - Justin Hartley
With Smallville over, where can the Green Arrow go? Well, I think he'd make an excellent Gambit. Practically all the qualities of GA are evident in Gambit, he just needs to adopt a Cajun accent, which I envision him doing it perfectly. It doesn't hurt that he's only one inch taller than the comic book character.

Banshee - Ewan McGregor
What can I say? He's a red-headed Irish actor only 2" below the characters actual height. It doesn't hurt to have a little star power, does it?

BROTHERHOOD OF MUTANTS

Magneto - Pierce Brosnan
I'm floored that people thought of Pierce as Magneto before I did. I think he's earned it; he has the characters' voice, charm, and height as well.

Scarlet Witch - Rosie Huntington-Whitley
Let me say something: Transformers: Dark of the Moon is gonna be an epic fail. I've stood behind Michael Bay for a while, and I was surprised he made a movie that everyone fell for, pretty much the first one since The Rock. Sadly, the second film, and the dilemma between him and Megan Fox, made me see a whole different side of him that disgusted me (He's using what she did back then as a means of a promotion for a film that hasn't even gotten reviews. Funny how he and his crew are bragging how great the film is - Emperor's New Clothes - yet it's been embargoed from reviews). However, people were stoked for the new actress, a former Victoria's Secret model, so I decided to give her a role worthy of her looks and talents, if she has any. I think she'd make an excellent Scarlet Witch, especially since she has the voice, as well as the height of the Ultimate incarnation.

Quicksilver - Paul Wesley
I give credit to Mistress Kizuna for this inspired pick. Paul Wesley played a character similar to Pietro Maximoff in the first season of The O.C. (great show, pick it up on DVD), and he's been showing some dynamite acting in The Vampire Diaries. And he even looks close to the character as well, and would make a great lookalike brother to Rosie Whitley.

Toad - Seann William Scott
He's scroungy looking, very lithe on his feet, and has the right range to play a character like this.

Mystique - Kristanna Loken
I haven't seen this girl in a while. Turns out Uwe Boll can end careers, because afer Kristanna did his two films, you don't hear much about her. A shot at redemption would be playing Mystique. It's very similar to the T-X in Terminator: Rise of the Machines, but this uber-tall actress is just perfect for the role since she can kick some serious tush. Just use her performance from Bloodrayne, tighten it up, and you have Mystique.

Pyro - Xavier Samuels
An authentic Australian actor playing an Australian supervillain. You can't get more authentic than that!

Juggernaut - Nathan Jones
Basically, I'm going with the Wolverine and the X-Men version who's just a big-ass brute who doesn't talk. Much like a previous role Nathan played: Boagrius in Troy.

MISC.

Apocalypse - Dennis Haysbert
I think this is a better actor for the role. Even though Michael Clarke Duncan isn't a bad choice, it's a choice used far too much. Now, Dennis is a wholly original pick, and like Michael Clarke Duncan, he has the voice to bring a CGI-rendered Apocalypse to life.

Psylocke - Maggie Q
Well, she knows karate, that much we know. And that promo shot of Nikita that OptimusPrime114 shared, she looks the part.

Deadpool - Ryan Reynolds
I'm holding out hope that he gets the role. But I think Marvel needs to get the rights back, and we can see a faithful adaptation where Deadpool can interact with all sorts of characters from the Marvel universe. And with Green Lantern failing to make a killing at the box office, maybe there's hope!

Cable - Dolph Lundgren
Okay, someone did suggest this choice somewhere. Whoever did gets a big pat on the back. Dolph is 6'5" (only 3" away from the character's actual height), built tough for his age, and has the action chops for a character like Cable.

Bishop - Denzel Washington
A rough choice to some, but watch a few Denzel Washington movies to get my drift. A good example would be Book of Eli, since he also plays a savior to the future. He's just all-around perfect for that role.

Callisto - Odette Yustman
An overall strong Latina actress who's the correct-a-mundo height for this character, and she looks like she can cut your private parts off.

X-23 - Megan Fox
If there's one actress that looks the part, it's her. I know that people have blind hatred for her, but I truly haven't cringed during any of her films (though I can see the problems in Jonah Hex and Passion Play). If she can work out, learn martial arts, and maybe study Summer Glau's performance in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Glau was a fan favorite, but she's 30 now, so scratch that!), I'd have faith that she'd nail the role. The plastic surgery that's affected her face won't matter, because X-23 is half human and half machine, right? Interesting fact: she began her training in drama and dance at the age of 5, so at least she has SOME moves down.

Havok - Scott Porter
Save Garrett Hedlund for a better role, like Nova. Scott Porter, on the other hand, is the right height, and has also expressed interest in playing the character out of numerous other X-Men characters. BONUS: He voiced Ant-Man in a Robot Chicken sketch.

Polaris - Emmy Rossum
I think she looks the part, and her voice is how I envision Polaris to sound like. Doesn't hurt that she's a talented actress with an amazing body (better than Anne Hathaway's to tell you the truth).

Pixie - Emma Watson
Going with OptimusPrime114. Emma's a strongly talented actress, and with the Harry Potter franchise probably about to end (unless J.K. Rowling makes good on her claim to make another book, according to reports I read), her country of origin is solid enough for her to play the character.

Magik - Oksana Akinshina
Someone mentioned this choice on **************. This is a good chocie, because not only is she Russian, but she has the right look and personality to play the young Rasputin sibling.

Jubilee - Malese Jow
Going with QWood's suggestion. There's a picture of her with hair that looks just like Jubilee's. She's young as well, and a half inch close to the character's actual height. And did I mention she's talented? Watch her in the first season of The Vampire Diaries.

Cannonball - Ryan Kwanten
Well, that's up to you guys to share. Kwanten has the humor, and can speak with a Southern accent (just in case no one is hip enough to watch True Blood, a show he's in). So I'm choosing him for Cannonball.

Mastermind - David Thewlis
He has the right look for the role, Plus, let's not forget, Remus Lupin is similar to Mastermind in some respects.

Who ever is cast as X-23 needs to be half Asian, cause she is half Asian in the Comics. she is Logan's clone (female) the woman that carried her and she got traits from as well was Japanese.
