So your criteria is only hair colour?
Imho Bale has it. There is something about him. Yeah he doesnt have the square jaw or the appropriate height, but he has that darkness and intensity. He probably assaulted his mother for still being alive and not letting him become the batman. :awesome:

no thats not it at all. my main point was that there will always be somethin thats not exactly right. what people look for when they see batman is mostly just somebody tall and handsome. thats how most of these people turn out, cause when theyre all put next to each other nobody would believe them to look alike cause they weren't picked to look exactly like bruce

Reynold's probably was, I've only started paying attention to him because of GL. Bale's never seemed like a pretty boy to me.

No one around here knows? Apparently you don't pay attention to 95% of the Superman suggestions.

have u ever seen mid summer night's dream. he was basically a pretty boy in that movie. its mostly just his movies from back in the day.

I think the thing with Bale is that he becomes whatever the role requires him to be. If his character is a "pretty boy," that's what he appears to be. If his character is a badass, emotionless law enforcement officer (Equilibrium), that is what he portrays.

Or the fact he had to take pretty boy roles before he could prove himself as a versatile actor...

yea really with superman is the trouble it is for wb. There is no way a supergirl movie with krypton or any sort of relationship to superman is likely to happen right now. It would be odd if it did happen before a new reboot for superman.

personally,i think she's alright in the face, but her body isnt even nice. hover plays supergirl should have a sexy body.thats y i say no to taylor swift and taylor momsen

I love Swift, but Im not for singers in big acting roles. I do think she looks the part a bit though, especially with the straight hair.

i still serious doubt wb would do a SUPERGIRL movie now when they dont even know what to do with superman.

I hope not, I think supergirl is kinda boreing by herself

I've always been torn on Supergirl... I like her, but at the same time I could easily do without her because I like Clark being the sole Kryptonian. Either way, she definitely shouldn't get a movie before Superman gets one... and I definitely don't want Swift in it.

I reckon if they're gonna do a female hero it'll be Wonder Woman. She's actually one of the leaders... right up there with Clark and Bruce.

Me too

Superman being the only Kryptonian is the way to do it.

They added all the extra characters in the comics because of lack of ideas over time... but the movies don't require all these add-on characters.

I dont really care for Supergirl other than the fact that she is hot. Power Girl is even hotter. As Clark's sidekick and the only one who can really get him (being alien and all) i think she is fine, better than Superboy anyway. I like how Clark sees her as his only link to Krypton and his real family, and how he is overprotective of her. Besides, Supergirl usually hangs out with the Outsiders (isnt that the team she is in?) and barely fights alongside Superman, so its really only Kara and not Supergirl that appears in his stories.
This reminds me of the Robin debate and whether he is important to the Batman mythos. Well Supergirl isnt as important as Robin, but it wouldnt hurt if they introduced her at some point, maybe in the 3rd film. Besides, she doesnt have to be Supergirl, since its not about her fighting with Superman, as it is about Superman getting a cousin, how she adjusts to Earth, etc.

As for Clark being the last Kryptonian, well it was a nice concept at the start but they ended up giving him a lost cousin, a dog, and a bunch of villains from Krypton so the idea that Superman is the sole survivor is one that he has until the others appear. And i say, get over it because everything that this notion implies will be examined in Clark's origin and first years. Even in the comics he is still raised alone, he still feels like an alien on a foreign planet, etc. When Kara appears all the character development revolving around him being the last K is already been done. But even with Kara, he still feels alone, he still wishes he could be on Krypton and he is still overprotective of his adoptive home world, Earth.
So what i mean is that since Kara appears later on, she doesnt change the fact that Clark has been the sole Kryptonian on Earth for at least the first 30 years of his life. Kara might break that absolute but she is not enough to change things too much. She is still one person, not a whole team of Kryptonians (all the others are villains anyway).

And then, introducing other Kryptonians give us a chance to further explore life on Krypton and important parts and characters of its history, like Jor-El.

Oh btw, Supergirl or no Supergirl, Clark's gotta have Krypto the Superdog. Krypto is just awesome.

i do liek the idea of being the only surviving kryptonian from planet blowing up. but i wouldnt mind a few others like zod/criminals in the phantom zone, and supergirl to show up down the road. Its nice to have some links to krypton and all that.

Supergirl will never work as a solo film, part of a Superman series maybe, but the character just doesn't have enough going for it to warrant a solo film.

I agree. A Supergirl tv series could be successful though. Fill it with beefcake, teen angst, and romance and target it towards girls. Cast Milley Cyreus and girls will love it. Not everything has to be directed towards fanboys.

Yeah I like that idea, having it have no ties to any DC films. And lots of fans arent that big on Supergirl, so I dont think anyone will be opposed to that idea

I agree with you 100% Man of Tomorrow.

Okay.

Andy Whitfield for Aquaman
Somebody said Ben Barnes for Tempest. I think it was Majik.
