i think green lantern and bronze tiger could go either way, both of them are really good. michael jai white was my pick for GL.

just because he plays a villian in most movies doesnt mean he cant play the good guy, thats how people get type cast. i hate that, its the same thing with everybody sayin sean william scott should play guy gardner. just because he's been that character in almost every movie he's played in but he could make just as good a kyle as he could guy gardner if not better. and its not like michael doesnt know anything about the character he's even voiced john stewart b4. i think he could play john just as well as Chiwetel Ejiofor.

I don't think he'd work as John because he was already cast as Gamble in Batman.


And second, he's way too old. Almost ten years older than Ryan.

He won't be cast, or even considered.

He doesnt even look old and we barely saw him as gambol in the dark knight nobody would even care about that. his age wouldnt even matter, i think he would at least be considered. john and hal arent the same age anyway.

He would be 47 by the time of the Green Lantern sequel....


John certainly isn't THAT much older than Hal.


He won't be even considered... just wait.


And his role as Gamble was pretty memorable. Some of Joker's best scenes involved him. "Why So Serious?"

he doesnt look at all 47 years old, just because he isnt actually that age doesnt mean anything. tony stark is suposed to be younger too and robert downey jr was born in '65. and he was in like 2 scences three at the most, in a gl movie they wouldnt have to make any refrence to gambol and wont half to cast anybody to play him, so it doesnt matter. especially since his character is dead in the dark knight.

Listen. If they wanted to cast as old as RDJ for Tony Stark in this....


We would have got actors as old as Nathan Fillion and whatnot being considered for Hal Jordan..


Yet we only got actors in their late 20s/early 30s being considered; Reynolds, Cooper, Roberts, Leto, Pine, Worthington etc



John isn't that much older than Hal. They're pretty much close in age.

the actors that are considered are anybody good enough to play the character, age shouldnt mean anything unless the actor looks really old and wrinkly.RDJ got cast as ironman because they thought of him as the best to do it and i dont think many people could have dont it better. plenty of actors are cast for roles we'd never think of them doing whether its their age or them never doin roles like that that make us think they're wrong for the part. But i never wouldve wanted RDJ to play ironman and now i think of him when i think of ironman, it was the same thing with michael keaton as bruce. and the people that were considered for that movie were pierce brosnan, alec baldwin, mel gibson, charley sheen, and even bill murray. so yeah i think michale jai white would be considered for john and im definitely not the only one who thinks so.

Casting the...

JUSTICE LEAGUE International

Justice League International, the action comedy of the summer.
Just sort of playing around with casting ideas for a JLI movie,
I haven't cast everyone. Some I am not sure who would fit,
and some I have cast I am not sure about. But here they are so far:

Christian Bale as Batman, he is great as Batman in his own franchise.
So why mess with it.

Brandon Molale as Captain Marvel, he looks like Captain Marvel brought to life
plus I think he is interested in playing him.

Henry Rollins as Guy Gardner. I have mentioned him for the role elsewhere.
He is great at playing big, tough guy, loud mouthed jerks, you love to hate.

Yvonne Strahovski as Black Canary. She looks like Black Canary,
and she can do action like she does in Chuck.

Mr. Miracle was a hard one, still not sure who to cast.
But Ioan Gruffudd voiced him for the JLA cartoon series.
Plus I think he could probably pull it off.
But I would be open to hearing other choices for the role.

Johnn Krasinski as Blue Beetle.
He just seems like he could pull off Ted Kord/Blue Beetle.

James Roday as Booster Gold, maybe. I would like to see that.
I think he would be good. The only problem would be he isn't as tall as Krasinski,
and I would imagine Beetle and Booster would have lots of scenes together.
Someone else mentioned Nathan Fillion, somewhere, for Booster Gold.
I could see that working too. Based on looks alone Booster seems like a great hero,
Fillion looks like he could play a hero in some comic book movie, and he can play comedy too.
Again he isn't as tall as Krasinski but he almost is.

George Eads as Captain Atom, he voiced him in the cartoon JLA,
so we know he can play the character.
But more than that he is a good actor on CSI and he looks like
Captain Atom to me, and I think he could pull it off well.
