i really dont like that one, it looks like whoever said that just took a look at some hot actresses and decided that they should play those characters. thats just the way it looks to me. and it also looks like whoever it was is a big fan of the zorro movies.

Why? Cause 2 of the actors happen to be part of it? That fails in comparison to the other cast lists here with way more than 2 actors from any given Whedon show, Dr. Who, or Supernatural.

If CZJ was completly illogical for Hippolyta, I might agree with you, but shes an older actress with great talent and beauty. I'd welcome her in the role.

I've always thought that MM would be more suited for a TV series than a full blown movie. Martian Manhunter, while well known to the comic fan universe, is virtually unknown to the general public. He would need a little more mass appeal before putting him on the big screen. I like the detective aspect. If it's approached correctly, it could draw that Law and Order/CSI crowd and the Smallville crowd at the same time.

I made a thread a while back where I asked what characters would be better suited for TV than movies and MM was on my list.

not really i was just jokein when i said that about zorro. but i personally wouldnt mind if they cast somebody with jennifer connellys height as wonder woman and then cast cathrine. but if they were to cast wonder woman as a taller actress i would think hippolyta would be tall too. but i definitely wouldnt mind seein somebody of average height playin either one of them.

that's a really good vote. he's almost exactly what im lookin for. he looks very similar to christian bale and i havent seen him in anything but by the movies he's been in im sure he's probably a good actor. my only problem with him is that he really isnt that tall. not that he needs to be, but if they did a sequal with him replacing chris i would want to see somebody who looks like him and matches him in height, and could voice both bruce and batman close to chris. it would just be more believable and easier to understand. but he wouldnt have to be bale's clone as far as acting.

It's been a while since we've had any crazy Batman 3 rumors. There hasn't been any official word on the next movie. I often get pm's asking if I know what villains are going to be in, etc. We don't even know when it will be released, let alone go into production.

The first rumor comes courtesy of Ain't It Cool News. There's some rumblings that Christopher Nolan will film the next Batman movie entirely in IMAX. Filming in IMAX (actually IMAX Digital) has its limitations. That's what makes this a rumor. There's a bunch of technical reasons that brings this into question. Even AICN questions the logistics of this possibility. Basically the IMAX cameras are heavier and normal camera equipment can't hold them. There is also a limit of two and a half minutes that can be shot with the camera. Slash Film dug up a round table interview that Nolan did for The Dark Knight and he addresses the load times. He said that the cameras could be switched when one runs out. Usually you don't film more than ten seconds of action sequences at one time. It's the dialogue scenes that would be a problem.

The second rumor...well, let's just say it comes from the UK's gossip newspaper The Sun. You might be aware of their track record. The only reason I'm posting this bit is because it's hilarious. They claim that a certain actress has already signed up for Catwoman. Catwoman seems a likely character to appear in the next film. The way they present the story is that it's already a done deal. Not the usual '_____ actor is in talks to play ____.' Who is the actress they claim has landed the role? Have you guessed yet? It's one that will make you either laugh or cringe. Are you ready? Megan Fox. (Check out the mock up image they provided):

old wrinkly, not even actress let alone a sexy actress cher play catwoman

aside from the costume it would be fine with me considering the only other option ive seen. cher wasnt even sexy back in the day to me.

The first time I saw "Training Day" I thought "Man, Ethan Hawke really looks like a young Christian Bale...", then I found out he´s actually older than Bale, and even tho I think he´s a really good actor I dunno if he could pull off the stare and the powerfull Batman persona the way Bale did...also, when the time for re-casting comes...wouldn´t he be too old ??

yeah, he would. but like u said he looks young and thats all that matters. my only problems were that he's not as tall and doesnt sound at all like bale. i just wish i could find the perfect person, weather or not he comes back. somebody who looks alot like bale, has the voice, and the right height, and of coarse has to be good actor.

You clearly know **** all about Cher then. No, she isn't a full time actress, but shes more of an actress than Fox is. Shes a really good one too.
She could have made a good Catwoman in the 60's or something.
