It's a 2D sidescroller. These types of games never really went extinct and theyve had a sort of renaissance since the Nintendo Switch came out.

I noticed that, but characters look more like the models in Dracula X chronicles and less like they do in Symphony of the Night and the recent Ritual of the Night of CG sprites that give the impression of being hand drawn.
