CBS is Bringing MacGyver Back to Television

So I saw the recent episode that deals with a conclusion to Jack Dalton character. I liked that we saw Mac break down emotionally. I though the send off was weak and definitely not worth of Jack's character.

For whatever reason, I'm not convinced Jack is dead. In the original series, Jack faked his death because he had some people coming after him. Hopefully that's the case with him in the new series and Eads comes back for a guest starring spot in the future because the way they killed him off felt kind of weak.

I haven't kept up with the series since a few episodes after Jack left but I am also skeptical of his death. No body? Not dead. Need to see the body. And even then we might get the "it was too disfigured" or a "look alike" if they really wanted to bring him back.

Never watched it anyway, so...sad face?

I abandoned it a while back though meant to return to it and never did. Maybe I'll try to catch up on roughly 3 seasons worth of story to find out what happens, or more likely, not.

Honestly the series went downhill after Jack was written out and replaced with Densi was added especially with forced relationship with Mac.

I'll watch the show if it's on but it's a real slog with them forcing the Desi/Mac relationship. Show basically went from an action adventure to a soap opera overnight.
