Reviews are extremely mixed here in Italy too. The script seems to be the biggest problem.

I think it's going: the initial reviews were so frightfully bad that lowered the expectations of all who had not yet seen. So now the critics tend to judge a little better.

I believe there are chances that end in at least 65s.

Yeah during that first day the movie seemed totally doomed, "franchise killing disaster" and all. Seems like it's just a good average movie, but nothing else, and a lot more was expected. From 33% to 57%.

Don't worry too much about the Tomatoer.
According to critics, I should've hated 'Batman V Superman.' I enjoyed it. I'd rate it between 6.5 and 7, so it's not a perfect or great film by far, but... you get the point.

Almost every videoreviews i've seen liked/loved it! and they dont make the rotentomatoes score, so i belive it will be fresh, and i belive fans will like more than critics... thats what matters...

Most fans though weren't keen on it, similarly to critics. While DofP (and all the other X-films) lived up to what critics said.

Dang, it's now back down to 56%. :csad: I wasn't able to get a screen cap when it was at 57.

This will probably make a MOS like trajectory, probably ending in mid 50s

Really disappointed, I though Bryan Singer was foolproof

Well it came along way. The first day, it got 33% and now it already surpassed Origins: Wolverine, Daredevil, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and soon Man of Sreel, Blade 1/2, X-Men and hopefully Spider-Man 3 and Hulk 2003 as well!

Except the rating almost always goes down rather than up, Cap3 started at 98 and ended up at 90, TASM started at 90 and ended up at 73, TASM2 started at mid 70s and ended up at 54, IM3 started at 88 and is now at 78 or something. Though there are some exceptions like Antman (from 63 to 80) BvS (from 10 to 27) TDKR (from 83 to 88) TFA (65 to 80)

So nothing can be said

Well, that's the beauty of opinion.

I don't agree with ALL the flack 'Batman V Superman' got, just like I don't agree with the universal praise Joss Whedon's original 'The Avengers' has gotten, while 'Iron Man 3' (which I adore) has gotten a mixed response from fans.

Actually, Civil War started with full 100% with 15 or so only fresh reviews.

Well, for a moment I was afraid this movie would be a The Last Stand, Catwoman, Elektra level of bad. This entirely watchable but flawed movie like Age of Ultron or Man of Steel is so much better.

I also don't agree with some of the BvS flak (although do agree with a fair chunk of it lol) and I'd rate Avengers a little lower than the critics (even though I still love it) but what I mean is that RT is a decent indicator to most fans as many of their views correlate reasonably well with it. It's only one indicator of course and anyone's view could be completely different to it on a film-by-film basis.

Iron Man 3 got 79% btw, is that mixed? High standards you have. ;)

I was thinking mostly about the fans' response to the film, but if it were according to me, it'd have a higher Tomatoer than both The Avengers and Captain America: Civil War, as I think it's their best film, followed by Guardians of the Galaxy, the original Iron Man and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. But that's just me.

It's so freaking bizarre...after each refresh it changes form 56 to 57 to 56 again, over and over....

WTF?????

57 now. So close to Fresh 60. :)

And you know, I think its very telling that we are getting this influx of positive reviews coming in. Its showing that lots of critics are actually liking the movie. This is indicating that the movie is good but maybe not great. Which is completely fine. Im completely fine with a good fun movie that doesnt necessarily raise the bar.

Good enough to keep things going for the new cast is what's important.
