spider-man did suck, but it was more than the terrible cartoony cgi that made it suck.

Personaly I think the CGI look great. If the film is well told, you'll buy the CGI because your mind is engulfed in the story.

I'll take a great film with sub-par effects over a crappy story with amazing CGI any day. And in the end, we all just want to be entertained for a couple hours. If you nit pick too much you'll ruin any chance you had of truly enjoying the film for what it is.

Just roll with it. Odds are you won't find what you're not looking for.

Well said. The graphics looked just fine to me, I wasn't really paying attention to how realistic they looked, I was just excited that we're seeing Superman do stuff we've been wanting to see allthese years.
