This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]470605[/split]
I think with Asians you guys have a buttload of your own directing and writing stories, while black people got like a select few.
The Howling Commando's were a diverse group and Hogun from the warriors three was Asian. Marvel just hasn't utilized those characters much.
I hope the howling commando's have a good role in Agent Carter and The Warrior's Three get a one shot adventure or bigger role in Thor 3.
If that is truly their stance, then you should just join the vast majority of sane people on the planet by not giving a crap. Someone in the previous iteration of this thread said it right. "Black movies", "white movies" and the like are silly and nonsensical distinctions. One of the bloggers over there (Shadow and Act) refers to the Hollywood system as "White Supremacy."
They go overboard over there though with their rage at white people telling black stories.
I don't think reshoots are for adding characters so much as doing stuff that later revealed won't quite work. I think BP is more likely to debut in his own film, with possibly a stinger/cameo in Cap3. I think that might be for the best rather than cameoing in a movie that already has so much else huge in it, give him his time to shine. It'd be like trying to release another big movie the same time.
you should give it a go. both Hounsou and Ejifor give great performances. The funny thing is they ignore things like Spielberg directing The Color Purple and Amistad.
Both could be called "black stories" but are told by a white guy. The Color Purple is great, never saw Amistad
