Im not saying you can't like a movie. TASM will be on my shelf too, like spider-man 2 is. What i am saying is that i don't get angry if they decide to reboot. People where angry when they announced they were rebooting raimis franchise, while i didn't care. In fact if they announced today that they were rebooting TASM i honest to God would not be upset in the slightest. I would be looking forward to another spider-man movie.

Okay, I see what you're saying. I do agree with you, though if I found out TASM was being rebooted now, I would be pissed since this franchise has a story arc that will take a number of films to conclude, so I don't want the series to feel incomplete.

I really wonder what is going to happen in TASM during the bridge scene. She is wearing her death outfit, so something must be up. But I do think its going to be a fake out (similar to MJ being thrown off the bridge in USM), and her real death will take place in TASM3.

Maybe. Personally, I find TASM to be the second best film of the franchise (SM 1 doesn't hold up very well and SM 3 was just a complete misfire). All the pieces are in place for TASM 2 to be the best film in the franchise. The only question is whether they can make those pieces fit together.

Not exactly mandatory, but I hope they keep the bridge too. It's just way too iconic.

That is if Norman even survives after Gwen's death. I'm assuming he will either die or fake his death.

Also, you don't cast a guy that looks as messed up as Dane DeHaan without doing the drug storyline.

If she dies in TASM 2, that might take me out of the film entirely. The best way to do the story to its full potential is in TASM 3 with GG as the main villain IMO.

Agreed. Question is, if something does happen by the bridge, who will be responsible for it? Green Goblin? Electro?

But I really don't think she will meet her demise in TASM2. If she dies in the third one, I am positive it will be by the hands on the Goblin!

If they want it done right, they'll wait until ASM3. And if Webb pulls it off in an epic fashion, that scene alone will trump every other CBM.

Everyone is expecting the bridge scene. I think Webb should have it as unexpected as possible, that is keeping more intact with the comic book arc.

Its really hard to make the bridge scene unexpected though. It all depends on what happens at the bridge now.

I don't think green goblin will be the only villain in ASM3, he already was the only villian in Raimis film and I think there would at least have to be a 2nd villain that hasn't been in a spidey movie yet, possibly mysterio, just to gain new interest
