Jerusalem's Lot: Adrien Brody to Star in Epix's New Stephen King Series

I hope this is a comeback for Brody. Dude is such a great actor and I'm not sure why he's kinda disappeared. I really liked Bullet Head; I recommend it to anyone who has Netflix and liked gritty crime movies (and dogs!).

Looks like Epix TV series based on Jerusalem’s Lot will be called Chapelwaite.

When I first heard about this I mistook it for the short story One for the Road. I honestly found Jerusalem's Lot kind of boring, but to be fair that's probably because it was told through a diary and letters from the 1800s. A Lovecraftian series sounds cool.

Seems the filming of Chapelwait (based on Jerusalem’s Lot) has or is quite close to start filming. Both photos of the cast in costume and from the set has surfaced. Read more about it over at ClubStephenKing.

Its only 36 pages and is in the Night Shift collection if you want to check it out. I've never read it, but I probably will before watching this.

It’s frustrating that they seem determined to adapt everything King has ever written (even obscure short stories) and yet that Dark Tower TV series couldn’t get picked up.
