Chapter 24 - "Four Months Later" - Discussion Thread 9/24/07

Looks like I'm the one of the few who liked West's character. I always look for characters I can relate to in a series, for me in season 1 it was Zach and so far in season 2 it's definitely West. Also they're somewhat the same- "aliens", which is cool. Because "robots" are usually stuck up, over compensating preps or jocks. Lol. But hey, that was high school for yah.

You act like West in real life? :(

:p

It isn't Sylar. It's someone new, which pretty much all the reports are saying for episode 5. Including the link I supplied.

All except for flying outside of a girl's window... yeah, his question basically was that alot of outsider guys ask... "are you one of the crowd, or are you your own person?" He just had a somewhat odd way of asking it, but that was his basic question.

To give you an idea, in real life I'm alot like Kale in Disturbia. I'm my own guy and hate those who follow the crowd because they're stuck up, pushy and etc. "Oh look at me, I'm a prep or jock- I'm so cool!" Hate those kinds of guys or girl personally. Don't associate with them.

SURPRISE! It didn't suck...well this show has vastly improved since I stopped watching in the middle of the season last year. For one, Claire's father is now an awesome character to watch, and Nathan is a die-hard, stone cold bad ass. Claire's storyline and Hiro's were good but not great...they're definitely going somewhere so that's good, I don't like Claire's new boyfriend though...he's lame and like the gay guy from last year only with superpowers, and his superpowers are exactly the same as Nathan's, boo. I'm also not a fan of the new characters and it was way too predictable that that girl was going to kill everyone. As for Hiro's dad getting his co-muffins and that mysterious organization...whatever, they did that to death last year so its sort of like beating a dead horse. I'm intrigued to find out who the character in Molly's dreams is though. I'm a notorious Heroes hater so it should be good for you guys to know that I might actually be starting to like it...that is, if they don't screw it up next week. :o

Maybe he already met Elle while being knocked out or whatever. Isn't that Bell's power?

The reports did say that she was tied to his explosion somehow. And somehow he had to have gotten that symbol necklace, just like the one the Haitian got from the Company.

True, but the kids who go out of their way to not be part of a group are just as bad

Ya it totally wasnt Sylar. He talked about there only being 9 of them left now, it was someone who was part of the whole Devoux/Linderman/Peterallie/etc. group

Maybe you should of watched the second half. It got a ton better as the season went along in my opinion.

So Elle works for the company? Awww ****. :down

Plus no one else thinks there's a chance that the killer is [blackout] Dallas Petrelli [/blackout]

You see if Zach had said that line about "aliens and robots" I'd have bought it immediately, because he's an outsider, outcast, individual. Coming from West, it just sounded like a jock trying to sound "deep" and wanting to get into Claire's pants.

like the gay guy from last year only with superpowers,

Um, maybe I forgot- but did the series ever say he was gay or the jocks who were picking on him in front of people trying to look cool?

I also liked West. I also liked Zach. They both were awesome.

I'm hoping he has more than a flying ability though.

That West guy looks familiar.

My favorite part was the Bennet(or Butler rather) family dinner. Almost everything else was just- eh, ok.

MAN I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!:eek::up:

HIRO IS SOOOO TENSEI,:o WEST NEEDS A GIRLFRIEND, AND MAYA IS DEATH IN CARNATE!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE NEXT EPI!!!:D:up:

That is a group- that group is called Goths and Emos... u don't understand what I'm saying- do you?

Examples:
- Peter Parker
- Kale from Disturbia
- Zach from Season 1
- West from Season 2
- Clark Kent from Smallville
- Etc.

Characters who are just themselves and don't try to mold into some high school cliche. Those that do mold are "part of the group" or "robots."

And Superman, I agree that it would have been better for Zach to say those lines... but, hey if West turns out anything like Zach- which he might, then that's still cool in my books.
