Chapter 24 - "Four Months Later" - Discussion Thread 9/24/07

That is a group- that group is called Goths and Emos... u don't understand what I'm saying- do you?

Examples:
- Peter Parker
- Kale from Disturbia
- Zach from Season 1
- West from Season 2
- Clark Kent from Smallville
- Etc.

Characters who are just themselves and don't try to mold into some high school cliche.

Haha, no man. I'm just teasin ya. You're a Non-conformist

I thought he was dead.
We never saw him die. We just heard about his death. He could have faked his death because he had some major plan for his old group. Didn't Linderman say that he just seemed to lose it towards the end or some similar comment?

Maybe you should of watched the second half. I got a ton better as the season went along in my opinion.
I stopped watching right around the Nathan is the father/crappy cop vs. Nicky episodes, and yeah I've been told that by a lot of people but I'm still not going to go back and watch the end of the last season, so oh well. I'm basically just gonna start watching this year until it gets bad. :o

Yeah, that's why I didn't even consider him. Would be interesting though. How did he supposedly die? (Sorry, I suck at minute details of shows :()
Angela said a heartattack/suicide attempt. Or rather she covered up his suicide as a heartattack because of that condition he and Peter apparently ''shared".

also wtf is up with Molly? Scary dreams aside, she's absurdly well-adjusted for a kid who watched her parents get murdered.

New head of the Pessimist Dept :(

Oh, lol. K. Thought you were mixing up non-conformist with anti-conformist (which is just as bad as conformist, because comically enough- they're still conforming). :cwink::up:

Hmm, interesting. Well, we'll find out episode 5.

Haha yeah, like the South Park goth kids. "Let's get together and talk about how we're not conforming" lol

Awesome, thanks. No in all seriousness I wouldn't even be watching if it wasn't for Kirsten bell/Kevin Smith/Eli Roth or whatever, hopefully they'll be better used assets rather than Geoge Takei and Christopher Eccleston (spelling?) who just sort of played themselves. :o

Does anybody think That Nathan coulda of observed Peter's Powers and got a little of Nikka in there? I mean what's with him looking like two face in the mirror?

He said something like "Out of all of us I didn't expect it to be you."

Right, and I totally understand how that can be interpreted as the person being one of his older group. It makes sense.

But you enjoyed this episode tonight right?

Someone at kryptonsite suggested that maybe he is actually burned and he just sees himself as the bearded Nathan. Kind of like a visual denial.

I agree that Hiro's annoying.:o

I'm wondering how they explained Nathan's election thing to the public.

and lol @ at half this episode being in subtitles.

Okay, so I missed the first half hour. Can someone recap for me?

But you enjoyed this episode tonight right?
Yeah I did, I liked Claire's father being a badass and Nathan, I just like the type of characters who are *******s who have to redeem themselves, it reminds me of myself a LOT, particularly Claire's dad when he breaks the dude's pinky. :o

I still can't believe it's looking like Nathan flew Peter high into the sky, let him go and hauled ass lol

Hahaha, Hypesters are relating to the most interesting characters tonight. Nobody on Heroes reminds me of myself besides Mohinder sometimes.

If that's the case I guess Mama Petrilli was used to his look.

Or they just don't want to say anything because they know how much it upsets him? Could that have been a regular bar? Doubt his mother would really say something. It's been four months.

Kind of like, and I know this is somewhat of a bad analogy, but it fits how Reed, Susan and the bartender all act towards Ben Grimm even though he's changed physically they still treat him the same way.
