Chapter 24 - "Four Months Later" - Discussion Thread 9/24/07

Damn, why do you think that? You mean Tekai's killer or the guy Molly sees?

......or maybe they're the same person. Hmmm.

Matt's pops I know is probally what Molly is seeing but I don't think he will be Tekai's killer.

Not the same guy. This guy is higher up I think. That's just one of the men he has working for him, hell I wouldn't be surprised if it was Silar.

It'd be nuts if there the same dude though. Heroes needs to start getting rid of bad guys permanently this season. Can't have 3 baddies working independent from each other; that's craziness.

Well, they did the twincest with Luke and Leia and it wasn't that big of a deal. Besides, didn't NBC do an incest story on Passions? I think I read something about that? NBC isn't scared to walk the line.

Another possibility is a clone of Nathan. Who knows what The Company could be up to and because of his mother, they've probably had access to Nathan and Peter since their childhood.

Not independent, but more like the brotherhood of mutants. We won't see this guy till midseason probably. I think he has guys working for him though, carrying out his commands.

Why would it be his dad?

Well they said they were going with the whole legacy-type thing this year and exploring the previous group, and we already know that the mutants(:o) pass on their powers to their children, and all the characters are connected in some, etc. It'd be sorta lame, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Whys that? Batman had Multiple Villians and sometimes they teamed up. Its not that uncommon.

Awesome? Man that would be disgusting... finding a girl, dating her, kissing her and then all of sudden- "you're kissing your sister." Talk about needing to puke and taking a cold shower. Yikes!
It would be great because it would make the Claire's boyfriend angle actually interesting. If they made her always fail at getting boyfriends, that would be really great. As it is, it's just a really lame storyline so far until the come up with some way to make it cool.

You're crankin out some interesting ideas tonight. Mohinder would love to find out they're cloning now.

There's a difference between multiple books (usually at least 2 to 4 of the major characters) going monthly with a very limited sense of continuity and an ensemble TV show where you only have an hour to develop 7 to 12 characters a week.

Heh, yeah he would. Besides, clones could be the key to curing the disease he mentioned. It seems to tie together.

I dunno, when I first saw that kid, he just struck me as looking like a Petrelli. Then he flew. He has got to be connected some how.

To each his own, but being in a nuclear family that would make me sick dude... just the thought of it.

There are other ways of making it interesting- such as him being the one to tell Claire and have Claire further reject just acting normal and fully accepting her powers because now she knows someone like her.

You don't need incest to make something 'out there', imo, that's going too out there.

Now clone would be interesting, but incest- maybe it's just that I have a sister that I find the thought... uh.... don't even want to think about it.

Or he could be someone with no relation at all and has a similar power.

Too predictable, been done a thousand times and probably the angle Heroes will go for. And no, there's no such thing as too out there, that's like telling people to get out of the box and then staying in the box yourself, hypo criticism much?

A kiss isn't incest. Full on incest involves sexual relations with a family member. A kiss when they don't know is innocent. Did Luke and Leia in Empire make you sick?

Heh, I'm new to the show, but I learned quickly watching season 1 that EVERYONE is connected in some weird, six degree of Kevin Bacon way. Do you really think they'd make two people with the exact same powers who even sort of look alike and not have a connection?

I really wonder why their flying looks so different compared to each other.

No, but I always saw the Han and Leia relationship as the central love story. They were the ones flirting all the time and saying "I love you", etc.

And dude (LeChuck), to each his own- alright? You choose the path of the dating brother and sister, I choose the path of the normal or clones.

I just think they don't need to repeat themselves by giving Nathan another kid. He's too young to have two 16-18 year olds as well as the two little brats by Heidi.

Could just be the bigger budget because it was a success this year. I mean, when did we really get to see Nathan full on fly in season 1? The most I recall seeing close up, was him taking off or landing.

Unless they are twins. :cwink:

Plus we aren't sure his power is really just flight. It could be anything. Control over the wind. Electromagnetic fields. He could even be a fricking white male version of Storm from X-Men. Or a telekinetic.

Luke seemed pretty into Leia in both A New Hope and Empire.

Does anyone have a clip of him flying? Were there any trees near by that were blowing in the wind?

Wouldn't work Meredith and Claire were the only ones reported about and found by the Company in the house that burned down. If he was Nathan's he'd have to be by a different mother. And no. He just shouldn't be Nathan's kid.
