Philip Seymour Hoffman has been replaced by Vincent Cassel.
Has there been any confirmation on who Kinnaman, Oldman, and Cassel are playing?
Just finished the book. Holy ef. If the movie is at least half faithful to the book then its going to be incredible. Great great great book
You can say that about pretty much every actor.A lot of people on the street probably don't know his name or what he looks like.
I don't really agree with this. My parents didn't know who he was until The Dark Knight Rises, and didn't know what he looked like until Lawless (his most recent role). His biggest mainstream role so far is Bane, where his face was covered and his voice distorted. A lot of people on the street probably don't know his name or what he looks like.
^You will enjoy it, its a good follow up, the only thing I didnt like about it was its a little more unrealistic than the 1st book.
In the 1st, EVERYTHING felt real and as if it could actually happen, the 2nd book strays from that a little. Still a good read though, as is the 3rd book.
The characters and the actors (it's a screenshot from a Swedish tv interview with the director)
Can anyone recognize the actress in the bottom right? (Nesterov's wife, she is not listed on imdb)

Nesterov's wife kind of resembles Mary Lynn Rajskub. That's all I've got.
i agree with that. It's not stupid unrealistic where you have to turn hour brain off, you just have to suspend belief a bit more than you had to in the first one.
Tom Hardy always looks like he's about to smash someones head in.
Will we ever see this movie?? It's in 'post-production' since September...![]()
Early screening of Child 44 Thursday. Crying.
