China Is Pissed Off At The U.s.

See ughh we ****ed something up AGAIN! and with china, they make almost everything that we buy, now there gonna like kill us with deadly toxins in our food/toys/clothing.

and you people don't agree that the US is ****ed up.

...They weren't doing that already?

I have to say, for once I kinda agree with a decision Bush made.

Well, Law of Average means it had to happen at some point. :o

Not going to derail the topic, but do some more research into what happened. It definitely was Genocide, and should be labeled as such, even if it does do a little damage to our "War on Terror".

It probably was a genocide...but it happened in 1915. I think Senate has a hell of a lot more important things to do then discuss a time when even their grandparents were sperm. They better have done a LOT more s**t that day...

SENATOR 1: Well, we sent out the 42nd bill to stop the war to Bush...and that's all on the agenda for today!
SENATOR 2: Really? F**k, this is early!
SENATOR 3: Man, I don't wanna go home...Delores is going to be on my ass for a stupid arguement we had this morning... Wanna label genocides?
SENATOR 1: Alright.
SENATOR 2: Sure, why not?

:o

China is like The Joker?

They're nothing like me :cmad:...I would send out toys with a drug that would make the children psychotic and kill there familes and such, not that owuld make them stupid :cmad:

Ah, the beauty of the legislative process in action.

well I'm not sure their are enough people willing to do those jobs at such low wages unless their immigrants.

anyway its good for globalization for other countries to do certain jobs. If there was not people in these poorer countries making this stuff their econemy could go down the toilet and then they would need aid and its developed nations like american who is gonna be paying for them. So may as well let them make their own buck

Any how after the lead toy thing the chinese goverment has cracked down on these companies about quality control of their products. It gave china a bad image and without these kind of jobs it would hurt the countries economy so its in the chinese best intrests to have safe products.

Sure we'd pay a little more. But guess what? More Americans would be working!! Our companies are greedy. Frikkin Roger Goodell is talking about sending the Super Bowl over to England!! All of that money that an American city could make ....and he wants to send it to London???

Greed. We need to stop sending money over seas!

really a super bowl in england

He does know that people in england care about as much about American football that Americans care about soccer.

I mean one of the sports the country invented was Rugby and people only cared about that when we where in the World Cup final.

I guess I'm not that surprised though as with how expensive everything is in london and the current exchange rate they could make a really large profit.

Also I would of thought perhaps you want to see american football played in another country. Wouldn't you want it global like the Soccer world cup.

I wouldn't mind if they had more NBA Basketball games over hear though. The BOSTON CELTICS played the MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES in an exhibition game and it sold out.

I am not a big Bush fan by any means, but I say good for him on this one. The Dalai Lama gets more recognition for the work he has done for Tibet and for world peace in general, and China gets to cry a river about it. I couldn't be happier. They're still bitter that their assassination attempt failed 50 years ago, when they were heartless enough to think the Dalai Lama's own brother would try to assassinate him if they pressured him to. LOL! What idiots.
The Dali Lama might be one of the most worthless figures of head ever. What exactly has he done for Tibet pray tell?
Wow. It's been quite a while since I've read a statement that ignorant. He has set up a place for Tibetans to flee Chinese repression in Dharamsala, India, and he's had many monasteries built, as well as other institutions that are dedicated to preserving the Tibetan culture that the Chinese are trying to destroy. He has also tried for years to compromise with the Chinese so that they will stop persecuting Tibetans, but the Chinese government is hateful and stubborn, and they refuse to speak with him. You can find out more the plight of the Tibetan people about what he's done for them by reading Tears Of Blood: A Cry For Tibet and Freedom In Exile, the Dalai Lama's autobiography.

yeah good job mr. bush , way to look after our best interests

China Says U.S. 'Gravely Undermined' Relations With Dalai Lama Award

BEIJING — The United States has "gravely undermined" relations with China by giving the Dalai Lama an award, the Chinese government said Thursday.
On Wednesday, U.S. President George W. Bush presented Tibet's exiled spiritual leader with the U.S. Congress' highest civilian honor and urged Chinese leaders to welcome him to Beijing.
"The move of the United States is a blatant interference with China's internal affairs which has severely hurt the feelings of the Chinese people and gravely undermined the relations between China and the United States," Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao told a news conference.
He said Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi had summoned U.S. Ambassador Clark T. Randt to express "strong protest to the U.S. government."
China has warned that giving the award to a person it believes is trying to split the country would have serious consequences for relations, but has not said what it would do.
With the Dalai Lama by his side, Bush praised a man he called a "universal symbol of peace and tolerance, a shepherd of the faithful and a keeper of the flame for his people."

"Americans cannot look to the plight of the religiously oppressed and close our eyes or turn away," Bush said at the U.S. Capitol building, where he personally handed the Dalai Lama the prestigious Congressional Gold Medal.
The Dalai Lama is lauded in much of the world as a figure of moral authority, but China reviles as a Tibetan separatist and for the past week has vehemently protested the elaborate public ceremony.
The 72-year-old monk and 1989 Nobel Peace Prize laureate says he wants "real autonomy" for Tibet, not independence. He is immensely popular in the Himalayan region, which China has ruled with a heavy hand since its communist-led forces invaded in 1951. He has lived with followers in exile in India since fleeing Chinese soldiers in Tibet in 1959.
Bush said he did not think his attendance at the ceremony would damage relations with China.
"I support religious freedom; he supports religious freedom. ... I want to honor this man," Bush told reporters at the White House. "I have consistently told the Chinese that religious freedom is in their nation's interest."
On Tuesday, however, the Bush administration took pains to keep a private meeting with the president and the Dalai Lama from further infuriating China: no media access, not even a handout photo.
Bush wants to ease anger in China, a growing economic and military powerhouse that the United States needs to manage nuclear standoffs with Iran and North Korea. He also wants to be seen as a champion of religious freedom and human rights.

I don't know why Bush felt he had to do this. But I could care less about China being pissed!!

HEY CHINA!!!!!!!! WE JUST GOT ANOTHER TOY RECALLED THIS WEEK!! :cmad: :cmad: GLOW STICKS!! How about not sending lead -based paint products to our children!!!!!!!!!!! How about stopping the contaminated food while you're at it. How about mining your own "human rights issues!!

For once, I've got to agree with Cellslim on a non-football issue. China needs to stop bullying people.

Well we can keep our jobs over here where they belong!! We frikkin' employ everybody over there! They would be in just as much trouble!:cmad:

I thought you supported the free market and the free market has determined the CEOs think its more profitable to use slave labor and support an immoral dictatorship, rather than employing working class Americans. Way to go free market. :whatever:

Point taken, good sir.
