I'd give the film an A+

Excellent satire on celebrity status and what high-level commercial success can do to creatives. Plenty of disarming moments. The performances are top-notch, from the leads to the supporting players.

I kinda liked that, though. [BLACKOUT]Other movies might have felt compelled to have some sort of epilogue, him leaving Gabrielle Union's character at the altar, or just showing him officially get with Dawson's character. [/BLACKOUT]

We thought it was a total mess of a movie. Horribly and distractingly shot, too many diatribes, etc.

I'm not a big Chris Rock fan but I really liked this. Great performances, funny scenes and I liked the monologue scenes. Not often a comedy is made that actually has sh** to say.
