That wasnt why she died.
That's not what I meant.
That wasnt why she died.
thanksHopefully this clears up a lot of stuff that happened in the movie, for those of you that are still lost or confused (it certainly helped me):

Yeah, I think that makes sense.Guys...I've said this so many times...and it does make sense...
I think that Fischer gets shot...he's unconscious and dying...Cobb and Ariadne go into Fischer's head/dream where Cobb is the architect and mark (hence the limbo that he and Mal created which is constantly stuck in his head)...think of it this way...if Cobb and Ariadne had to chase Fischer...why would they try to get him in Cobb's dream, it makes more sense if they chased him down and retrieved him by going into Fischer's own "dream"...plus if Cobb and Ariadne chase Fischer in his own dream...it would explain how the defibrillator acts as a kick (causing the lightning in level 4) since it's the dreamer who has to set off the kick...as well, I'm pretty sure after Fischer and Ariadne jump, the dream starts to collapse as what happens when the dreamer exits their own dream...so after they jump, Cobb dies (either through the van in level 1 or Mal's attack in level 4)...and that's how he ends up in the water again while in actual limbo...of which Saito has been in for "awhile" now and has recreated things from his own memory, making it impossible to know if he was in the real world or not until he meets Cobb again...

t:but why would Cobb say Saito is down here? they would have to be in limbo for him to say thatLevel 5 of that illustration is not Limbo. Remember the rules: The only way you can get there is if you get killed and can't wake up. Ziggyman is actually correct, that it is Fischer's dream populated by Cobb's subconscious (which includes memories from his Limbo). It is Fischer's dream because when he is being revived, the dream is collapsing.
It's pretty crazy and i'm honestly starting to think it wasn't explained properly in the movie. Nolan explained pretty much everything else but I think he missed one or two tidbits that would have helped. Which is why myself and a few others have been questioning the wholeuniversal/multiple limbo aspect as well as Cobb being in limbo with Ariadne but then dying in the van and being in a different spot of limbo, unless in that short time frame the city Mal and him created was entirely gone by that point.

nope. Then how the hell did Mal and Dom get in Limbo? Dom continued going deeper than he should have and that's how they got there
Why do you think Cobb told Yusef how about "3" dreams, after that im pretty sure it's limbo, cobb needed to go through all three dream states to perform inception
you could be right , cobb doesn't get to limbo until fisher winds up back in level 4 , it explains why saito was older because he jumped past cobb to get to limbo by dying
I was just doing lab stuff with my mind wandering around Inception, and I realized that Cobb's emotional journey isFirst Impression is 10/10, Nolan brilliance as usual.
The ending though expected somewhat is ambiguous enough to a point.
the thing is...
that mal is right, there would never be a way to distinguish what is real after this. Mal is right in that even if one would get back to what is real, a person would feel like it isn't. In a sense in the dream world she is the subconscious part of his mind that wants him to wake up not stay asleep. It is at the end when Cobb doesn't pay attention to the top that Cobb lies to himself, similar to Leonard, that this life is the real one.
i agree with most of the stuffIf anything and in all fairness...my theory (about level 4 and limbo being different) does seem to be the most possible/likely/plausible...what have you...out of all the other ones, and it does seem to tie everything together in the end...
i agree with most of the stuff, but why would cobb show up right there where saito was and totally forget what he came there to do
An excellent read

i seeHe knew to find Saito...he just didn't know that was him...
The guard even said before Cobb entered..."he asked for you and had these things on him" or something...
