Any Canucks know if we get the trailer with Basterds?

There used to be a time in the good old days when you could rely on the leg booters to have done their work by now. :csad:

someone said that there was a overhead shot of a city and it looked..Blade Runnerish. Is that true? Do you know what city it was? Tokyo Japan maybe?
It was just a simple overhead shot. Nothing special. Looked more Dark Knight-ish than Blade Runner-ish.

and during the fight, was it martial arts or brawling. When I say brawling, I mean like the fight scene in Old Boy.

It wasn't blade Runner like at all. It looked very much like a regular city. A grey one. I remember a long bridge that snakes through the city too.

And I remember Leo with this hair slicked back surrounded by a green tint on a high building looking back.

It was just so exciting. I was surprised we got it. And it did kind of look like Nolan actually. It's the cinematography that does it. Just cool to see something different.

And that hallway scene while fast was just plain cool. You would first thinnk of the Matrix buts it's something in it's own. Just the hallway being slanted and them jumping off the walls made it look cool.

I hope it's not too Matrix like. I like The Matrix and all, but it makes you wonder why the fight happens in the first place..

Apparently there's not enough interest for the bootleggers to step up to the plate. Pretty lame too because this is one of the few movies you'll see where the trailer isn't officially put online the same day that it shows up in theaters. Nolan has a habit of doing this. The December TDK trailer didn't show up until a Sunday even though it came out in theaters on a Friday. Luckily we did get a bootleg from it on Friday morning. Hopefully we get something over the next day or so for Inception.

cant wait to see inglourious basterds again tonite... here's hoping i see the inception teaser.

The bootleg December TDK trailer came out the night I got home from I Am Legend I believe. I guess time zones and all.

What time zone are you in and did you go to a midnight showing of I Am Legend? The reason I remember the bootleg coming out on a Friday morning is because it was around 2 AM central time when it first appeared. And then I went to see it in a regular theater when I woke up later that morning, as well as seeing the Prologue in IMAX.

So is Leo involved in the hallway fight scene, or is it Joseph Gordon-Levitt as many reports have been stating?

I was going to do it for you guys, but unfortunately the Avatar screening ended too late for me to go the closest Inglorious Basterds showing. I don't love you guys enough to wait 2 hours. :o

It was eastern time for me.

I saw the prologue/IAL at around 7 or so at night and then came home to the bootleg trailer. And i was pretty sure prior I was keeping up with it because I was excited as hell for the TDK footage so I would of caught something.

It shames me that we're in '09 and still have phone cams like that out. :(

Otherwise, very moody and intriguing. I'm loving how Nolan has seemed to tap into that rare space of auteur and big-time filmmaker.

Anyone else reminded of TF, from the soundtrack?

kinda reminded me of the music in the rotf teaser
but yea tdk on steroids hahaha
