Christopher Young's Ghost Rider Score

There's no "music inspired by" album, just an original score for the film. Kind of weird since Johnson's last comic movie (daredevil) had an album.

I am going to answer my own question. The music during the first transformation is at the end of the track "The West Was Built On Legends". So if anyone wants to know now you know

Is the choir music that played during the first transformation on it ? That music was awesome

Thats the song: "The West Was Built by Legends"

The soundtrack was great, I also liked "Ghost Rider" Track 1.

Ugh! Why do no stores here have it?!!!:(

I'll call a few places, I hope they have it.:(

Christopher Young has created a masterpiece here. The GR OST is easily the best spuerhero OST ever. The Ghost Rider theme and "The West was..." are breathtaking.

Really? The parts I've heard have been cool... but the best ever? Better than any of the Batman films (they all had tremendous scores)? Better than Spider-Man's, or one of the greatest scores of all time in Superman: The Movie? I think you're getting a little ahead of yourself...or you just haven't listened to very many superhero scores.

I ordered it from the internet. Every store I call says "we don't carry that item".:o:(

I hope my CD comes in like, Wednesday or earlier.:(:(

I never liked those scores (Batman maybe but I hate Superman's and Spidey was OK). The only one that I liked as much as GR's was John Ottman's score for original X-Men.

How could anybody hate Superman's? I can understand hating the main theme, because it does show up so often, but you hate the Krypton, love, and Smallville/home themes?

Michael Kamen did the score to X-Men, John Ottman did X2.
If I'm coming off sounding mean, I'm not trying to be, I just want to understand what makes GR so much better than all these other wonderful scores.

Michael Kamen did the score to X-Men, and if I heard correctly, he didn't even do all of it because he became quite ill so others were brought in to finish it.

That's not correct! Kamen wrote a complete score but the producers wanted a modern touch to the score so they hired Klaus Badelt who did a kind of "face lift" to Kamen's score by adding some electronic percussions.

Thank-you for the correction.

If you cant find it in the stores, you can get it right now from iTunes. The entire CD is up for 9.99.

You can also buy tracks individually for a buck. Not bad at all.

This was one of my favorite scores...
I love the opening credits, when Blaze first transformed, and when Caretaker and Ghost Rider headed for the town.

This is a great score by Christopher Young. I like the "guitar" theme that is played when Caretaker is shown, and I like the opening title music. He did a great job with this one :D
