Chuck (NBC)

I wish they would do more with the intersect than martial arts (apart from the basic function of identifying hostile objects, symbols, and people). There must be some other way it can be used that would be cool and fun.

It just seems like the same old thing and I find it boring. Apart from that the show is fun and I love how good Morgan is now. He fits in so perfectly. Now if only they would find a way to brutally kill Jeff and Lester, I'll be really happy with the show.

I was going to say the same thing. I am getting bored with his love relationship and the stupid people in the store. This might be one I drop soon if it doesn't show more about the intersect or something different.

For those of you with a Dish Network DVR, the pilot episode of this new NBC show should be sitting in your DVR's "Dish-On-Demand" or "TV Entertainment" section.

It was pretty good. It sort of started like a Jake 2.0, but came out totally different. For a pretty unoriginal idea (geek turns secret agent), it's got a pretty original premise and some decent laughs. The ending of the pilot hinted at even more chances for comedy AND drama in the episodes to follow.

The girl that plays Chuck's sister (Sarah Lancaster) TOTALLY reminds me of Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter).

Also, for Traveler fans, there will be a familiar face in the beginning of the show.

All in all, it's definitely getting added to my DVR list. Makes it easier that it precedes Heroes. :)

Cool start.

Really Thread Starter?

Damn Sarah looks super hot and sexy in that skin tight catsuit as a dark brunette .

A solid ep, a little bogged down by how rushed everything had to be (remembering that, with the original episode order, this would have been the next-to-last episode).

Next week's show is supposedly written like a potential series finale (since it was originally episode 13), and Josh Schwartz is claiming the last 10 minutes are the best 10 minutes in Chuck history.

Considering he has to compete with the last 10 minutes of "Chuck vs. The Ring," "Chuck vs. the Other Guy," and "Chuck vs. The Ring Part II," (three of the episodes that immediately come to mind when I'm thinking about awesome 5-10 minutes sequences in the show's run)... I'm excited to see what they have to offer.

Yeah I realized next weeks was suppose to be the finale and felt a bit annoyed that the new Sarah storyline will be done with next week.

Pisses me off and makes me wish NBC would of just went ahead and announced a full season right away so they could of had more time to flesh it out.

Oh well.

I keep wondering if we'll see Chuck vs Sarah...

While intriguing, I think it'd be unlikely, simply because Chuck would never lay a finger on Sarah. Even if he thought she'd gone 100% rogue, he'd still effectively lay down in a fight.

I'm kind annoyed by Sarah starting to go undercover with Volkoff without consulting Chuck after their whole NO SECRETS RULE. It's pretty cool to go on with that whole proposal plan knowing that her whole plan was to become a rogue agent and get arrested.

Not like Volkoff would buy it anyway. Just seems like flimsy writing to me.

I like Chuck but sometimes its two steps away from being a melodrama.

Does anybody know the name of the song that was playing at the end? I know I've heard a bunch of times but I can't think of the name or who the artist is.

After Chuck's line of saying they hadn't heard from Sarah in weeks, I get the feeling that last week's episode was supposed to air before the break. Then give us weeks of buildup to tonight's episode.

Nevermind, I found it:

And the dubstep version (which is the version I'd heard before, I think it's pretty dope):

If next week is really the end of the Volkoff story arc then he needs to die. He can not escape or go to prison because he knows where Chuck & everyone Chuck & his mother loves live. With that saying I can see Mrs. Bartowski finally putting a bullet in Volkoff's head
