I think the further we go it'd get a lot harder for something in this genre to get as high as Spider-Man 2 and TDK just cause of the influx of so many CBM. Ideally, I'd like something within the 92-94 range. To go above that, it'd take a very special CBM to do that.

It's harder to get 94+ because of "superhero fatigue" backlash from certain critics.

The thing is, I have gone into a movie I knew I may not like, and I came out liking it. Even bad movies. You would think that if your average movie-going peon like me could be objective, then someone who does it for a LIVING would have mastered objectivity.

In acknowledgement of the impending haterade, let's all try to be reasonable. Let's remember that there will be those that hate something we love, and not proclaim a worldwide conspiracy or absolute lunacy....
...unlike some other people we won't mention.

That would seem like a reasonable expectation. When Avengers hit 50 fresh reviews, it had just 2 rotten and finished up at 92% (290 fresh/25 rotten). Maybe CW will do marginally better but I think a 98% final is very unlikely.

How low do you guys think it will drop to? I expect it to stay in the 90s like the first Avengers as it had around this score before the US critics came in.

I think it's pretty much guaranteed to stay above 85%, to go below it, it would have to recieve 1 negative every 5 reviews or so and that's difficult to see

Realistically in the low 90s (92-93) or maybe late 80s (88-89), either way excellent ratings, the MCU streak continues!

I'm gonna say Civil War will either tie with Iron Man at 94% or get the highest rating for an MCU film on RT with 95%. One of those two.

Don't stoop to their level. Besides, I thought Disney ran out of money paying off critics for that movie, didn't realize they still had enough to pay them off for JB and CW

I don't know for it to hit 88-90 it would mean out of 300 reviews 30-35 were rotten. We are sitting at 53 Fresh to 1 Rotten and that Rotten was a clickbait review.
