Doesn't explain why he couldn't sense Coulson though... or what was said he could no longer sense Coulson suggesting he could before?

Clairvoyant could READ Phil's mind UP TO the POINT Phil died. He couldn't read anything just after that point because an outside source changed the memory

Ultron is hardly likely to show up on the TV show before AOU. Also, knowledge of statistics and probability would not confer the ability to read anyone's mind, which the Clairvoyant can do according to Raina and Po.

Is there an impending reveal I wasn't aware of? In other words, are they revealing who the clairvoyant is sometime soon? I didn't realize this.

You're kidding yourself if you think it's going to be Ultron, I think that is about as likely as if it was Thanos.

I think the best case scenario, to have a major player from the movies show up, is that the clairvoyant is Leader. In fact, that would make much more sense than Ultron.

Personally, I just think it's someone inside Shield, maybe Hand. Not so much a clairvoyant in reality but someone who has inside information.

Tne clairvoyant is Nick Fury. He takes revenge on all those two eyed people with their fancy depth perception and whatnot by poking their eyes out and replacing them with exploding life model decoy eyeballs. Odin supports him, that's why Lorelei is on Midgard.

They've said we'll find out his identity by season end. Whether that counts as soon, I'll let you decide.
