Clones A'Poppin!

I'm glad the stingers did come back again. Whether I like something or not, I hate when something big like that is introduced, then ignored and pretended it didn't exist. If it's cannon, it's canon. If it's obviously looked down on, then write it out, don't just ignore it. Same is said for his other powers picked up on in The Other (the rest I actually liked for him to be honest).
Not me. Some things are bad enough that they deserve to be forgotten forever. The only way I'd be okay with the stingers' reappearing is if it's in a story expressly crafted to undo the horrible, horrible waste of pages that was The Other.

Rigel, Spider-Girl's not populated by clones, those are what are known as LEGACY CHARACTERS. Similar characters with new identities. A clone is flat-out the SAME person with the same abilities.

Or the same person with a foot for a head and a head for a foot.

Or the same person, but with their DNA spliced with a fly so that their fingernails pop off and their bodies get all sticky and hairy and they make for a really awesome, goofy thriller.

Heck, you could say that Peter got all these abilities because he was a misfunctioning Clone all along and that Ben was always the real one ;) see how I brought that back onto topic

I like the cut of your jib.

While we're on the topic of Stingers, something else about them bothers me.

With Wolverine his claws popin' in and out makes sense as his healing factor keeps rehealing the wound. As we saw when his healing factor burnt out he bled like crazy when he pop'd them, so he would bring them out every so once and awhile to keep the channel open like a pierced ear.

Now Spiderman has no healing factor, and doesn't pop his stingers out to keep the channel open. So remind me why his wrists don't bleed like crazy when he brings them out?

I'm guessing that unlike wolvie, bug's stingers when they come out are "natural" (I use the word loosely) and his biology changes to make them work without cutting him at all. Kinda like how his organic webbing works.

So Peter's got two giant slits on the insides of his forearms for his stingers to slip through? Ugh, the idea of stingers gets worse and worse...
