And here's another pic of our favourite clones from the spidey era teaming up and looking badass...

one of my favourite pics of them two together.

my understanding is he was trying to kill the REAL spidey to let the perfect Clone have Real Spidey's life, but he got confused as to who was the clone and who was the real.

oh, stupid question, but is it true Kaine had claws?

Not that I know of. You may be thinking of his "mark of Kaine," which was a souped-up version of Spider-Man's clinging ability. When applied to people's skin, it tended to kill them pretty quickly.

naw, I knew about that. Someone once told me that Kaine had claws on his hands like Wolverines. I figured that was crap, but I had to ask. Was I clear about Kaine's motivation by the way?

Joseph was kick ass, he was like a magneto that made sense.

"Hey I've got awesome magnetic superpowers, I know I'll go fight an unwinnable war against all of humanity... wait no **** that ****, I'm gonna use them to look cool and get girls."

Whatever else you can say, there's no arguing with the man's priorities.

Btw photojones2, I randomly saw Zach Galifinakis walking around when I was at Coachella. My brother and I were leaving Bjork early so we could beat the parking (and cause she sucks), when I saw a bearded guy in the crowd.

Me: Hey are you Zach Galifinakis?
Zach: Yeah (but the pleasantly surprised kind of "yeah", keep in mind that there are thousands and thousands of people at Coachella so he didn't exactly stand out)
Me: Awesome!

We posed for a picture and I lived happily ever after.

No, Peter really has claws now. They're called stingers, and they're actually more like giant spikes. I thought they would be mercifully forgotten after "The Other," but Peter David brought them back in this week's Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, making me even happier than usual that I don't read that comic.

You're f*****g joking, right?

Man, how can he fit both web-spinner and spikes in his forearm?

Now I know it's my fault that i brought up that awful, awful story with a joke, but let's not ruin this perfectly good CLONE THREAD.

*ahem*

So how about that Joseph guy, huh? preeeeetttty coool.

I'm glad the stingers did come back again. Whether I like something or not, I hate when something big like that is introduced, then ignored and pretended it didn't exist. If it's cannon, it's canon. If it's obviously looked down on, then write it out, don't just ignore it. Same is said for his other powers picked up on in The Other (the rest I actually liked for him to be honest).

Heck, you could say that Peter got all these abilities because he was a misfunctioning Clone all along and that Ben was always the real one ;) see how I brought that back onto topic

And then he ATE somebody's head. :wow:

I'm not kidding.

That event actually drove me to post here, even though I've been lurking here since the first Spider-Man movie came out.

I know the feeling. I was here back when it was the Spider-Man Hype site.
