Clor gonna get a whuppin!

It seems we are reaching a point where we acknowledge our different opinions and accept that. What mostly bothered me was that when I gave my opinion with some supporting arguments you simply dissed that by saying that's "bs", while not having any actual proof to the contrary -- just your opinion. You could have simply said that you do not agree.

Dont be so sensitive, BS, I dont agree, its the same thing, yes one is more rude but it's no big deal.

Storm has changed in that aspect. She almost killed Callisto in that knife fight they had and she took out one of Morrow's hearts (she didn't know she had two at the time) so that she could take out the explosive set in it. Clor is a clone/cyborg, it's very possible that he's not even seen as a he but rather an it, that might make it very easy to go the extra mile and kill him/it. But I doubt that'll happen.

We don't know how Clor's tech parts work. A sufficiently high electrical charge might, as per Supermarvelman's speculation, disable the tech controlling him and take out any "circuit breakers" holding him back. It could also mean that it "fries his circuits" and renders him unusable until "fixed".

Ben Reily was a clone, he was a person not an it. Yes Clor and Ben are very different, but it's not Clor's fault that he is the way he is, why is Ben a man but Clor an it?

Did I say he IS an it?

He doesn't have ceratin body parts lol.

But He doesn't seem to have that much emotion, but Ben did hhave emotion, and he actualy so compassion, becuase he was a near-perfect clone, while clor was not........

I hope I get OWN3D in this discussion that way I can learn for the better.............

Again its not Clor choice to be imperfect, why would that make him an it. The main reason I want him to stay around for a while is so he can become complete, maybe meeting up with Thor will spark something in his head and show him what he's really supposed to be like. After the meeting he would realize what he's done like killing an innocent hero that didnt deserve death, I think Clor has the potential to be a great character.

No you didnt say it as your own opinion, but you stated as a possibility of how heroes in the MU look at him.

Do the math. He was cloned for a very specific purpose, enforce the law. He's been given cybernetic implants for unspecific reasons. He's programmed with code words that shut him down. They talk about him like he's some kind of robot by asking if he has been fixed and if he's working correctly. The way HEROES treat him should more than give a clue as to what they think of him and I'm talking about his "allies", ok? You can almost make an educated guess that the people in the MU aren't going to see him as another Ben Reilly.

Like I've said before, there have been far too many Thor clones already; another one is just.....bothersome, spent, hackneyed, overdone, cliché...whatever adjective you want to use. The real deal is coming back, he doesn't need Clor to fight him, he has all the others that they can update and bring back. It's cool that you like the character but to me he's a disposable plot device villain that can be tossed aside when the story calls for it.

I totally understand how the MU could look at him as an it, I just dont agree with it myself, since they treat him like an it, doesnt mean he is an it. People could treat me like a kid, doesn't mean I'm a kid, I'm a man no matter what people treat me like.

Bravo.

I have to admit, though--I wouldn't mind seeing Thor take Clor out with a single hammerstroke as his first act back on the scene. That would be a great beginning to Thor's new chapter.

Clor's definitely the least interesting of all the Thor clones, though. Even Red Norvell has more potential than a mute (as far as I've seen, anyway) half-clone, half-robot version of Thor. The fact that he's built partially from shoddy human tech means that he's gotta be leagues below the likes of Red, Bill, Dargo, or either of the Thunderstrikes, all of whom are powered by genuine divine magic.

Thanks.:o
Clor HAS spoken, though. It's curious how this isn't the first time I've seen people think that he doesn't have a voice. If I hadn't gone back to see if he was called a cyborg at some point and seen his fight with the rebels again, I would be guilty of thinking the same. Maybe it's a metaphor for what we think of the character subconsciously.

In his fight with the rebels in CW 4 he had alot to say. He didnt sound like Thor mind you. Sounded like he was channeling ultimate Cap.

Either way he sucks.

(smile)
His saying what he said on the operating table was also interesting.

Too bad Marvels clones don't go "Bizarro"

I kinda liked the 'wretches' and 'I don't think so' bits.

Pure vintage villain. :D

Shameless bump. Eh.

Just read Civil War 7.

To keep this post spoiler free, let's put it this way...

So much for Storm owning Clor. :woot:

Did we - well, some of us anyway - or did we not call it??? :woot:

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Who better than Hercules?

Does anyone think he was drawn the way he was, said what he said as Millar's homeage to Thor?

Still got his ass kicked, that's all I cared about. :o

As long as it wasn't Storm, that's all I cared about. :woot:

While she did have a better shot at it than most (as, say, her hubby or, what, 90% of superheroes???) and I do like the character, I just loooove the thought of her hardcore fans/defenders being pissed about her not owning and being goddess queen of the universe 24/7 :woot:
