Clor gonna get a whuppin!

Fact: The Ultimate Nullifier was NOT made on Earth it's a device that Galactus had on his ship and the only way the F got their hands on it was because the Watcher helped them.

Fact: All mutants have more resistance than humans, it's been stated in Handbooks and RPG source books. Marvel's current way of "measuring" their character's powers leaves a lot of wiggle room between rank and rank.

Fact: Ororo saw herself as a goddess in the beginning because that's how the people she lived with saw her. Later on she has come to accept herself as mutant. Funny thing is that other people, powerful beings and even other dimensional creatures have seen her as a goddess. Even Loki considered her worthy of being a goddess.

Fact: Ororo can control enough energy if she let's loose to make even Dr.Doom worry about what can happen to him. Her power while boosted with claustrophobic fear has been enough for Doom to say that he can't contain that much power.

Fact: Ororo's powers aren't limited to lightning, she has access to other weather manifestations. Anyone heard the one about a straw punching through walls when pushed by hurricane winds? Anyone know what happens to metal when you reduce it's core temperature too much?

Fact: Ororo is an accomplished hand to hand fighter, she has LEAD the X-Men while powerless. Wolverine has been her private trainer in countless comics, I would say the only person I've ever seen train privately with Logan so much is Kitty Pryde.

Fact: Clor is the guy that killed one of their friends. One of their BLACK friends. One that was treated like crap by the SHRA supporters. It has been shown in a comic that both BP and Storm are VERY pissed off at what happened.

To me, Storm has the odds to win, like I said before. Can she be beaten? Sure. Am I surprised that people are rooting for a murdering carbon copy? Yeah, that I am. It shows how much bias there is that people are rooting for the bad guy and are even going so far as wishing Storm dead.

Well you have your opinion, and I have mine, so like COMICBOY said this is gonna go nowhere, cause you aint budging and either am I, we'll juat have to see what happens. The thing about your "what if, love tap" theory is, if Spidey or Luke wanted to they would knock there opponent out, like you said Clor is a mindless clone, he's not gonna give her a love tap, he will hit with full force right off the bat. Also we dont know Clor's level of Invulnerability, so I cant answer your question about the lightning, but if it's anywhere close to Thor's invulnerability, then he would take the bolt, it would slightly hurt him, but it wouldn't take him out. We do know storms level of durability though, and a hammer to the head will do the job, whether it's a knock-off or not period. **** a normal work hammer could probably take her out, if you managed to get close enough and hit her with it hard enough.

Storm uses hurricane wind gust to send it back. The fight continues. Your writting Storm off too quickliy. Shes not to be underestimated.

I'm not talking about throwing the hammer, why do people assume thats the only way to use it? I'm talking about flying directly at her and swinging the hammer and hiting her with it. I'm not writing her off easily, I'm doing the opposite, I'm saying that for Clor to win it would come down to him using blunt force, nothing else. Also Clor is not to be underestimated.

I doubt it. Reed Richards used surgical tools to open up his head and he also part machine. He may have high durability, but I doubt its on par with the real Thor.

Clor threw his hammer and nailed Falcon, Dagger, and Cable at close range, yet they were able to get back up.

Chances of her letting him get that close are pretty low. She'll use all the hurricane wind gust and freezing hail and snow tricks to keep him at bay, sort of like what those previews show.

Also Clor is not to be underestimated.
indeed.

Storm fans are acting like Clor's just some bum that picked up a hammer from Home Depot

Judging from the scans Clor has damn good resistance to her tornados and lighting attacks.

Why hasn't anyone answered the question on What would happen if Clor hits her with the hammer the same way he hit that building he tore down?

Listen Iron-man, I think clor will probably beat Storm, I stated that already. I just think in a battle, Storm can take she-hulk and if need be Ms.Marvel.

Storm fans are acting like Clor's just some bum that picked up a hammer from Home Depot
Not a storm fanatic or anything, just defending her because she's being underestimated. I'd say Clors a waterdowned knock off. But I know he is plenty strong.

Judging from the scans Clor has damn good resistance to her tornados and lighting attacks.
Ofcourse, but how much can he take and how far will Storm go to defeat him is the question.

Why hasn't anyone answered the question on What would happen if Clor hits her with the hammer the same way he hit that building he tore down?
She would die or be unconscious. None the less lose. But judging from the scans and the fact thast she isn't an idiot, she most likely will not let him get that close. Or atleast she will try. Chances are she will lose, but theirs also a possibilty she can win.

If you think I'm being an ass, your entitled to your opinion, but you have been acting like an ass lately too. I understand what you mean about "dont even try" but you always focus the comment on me, not Eros or CollosalSpoons or anybody else, it's always been directed at me. If I seem like an ass because I'm debating with somebody, oh well, I have my opinions and I like to state them whether I seem like an ass or not, thats up to the other person, if he thinks I'm an ass. I understand you have your own issues, but so do I, so if thats your excuse than why is me being an ass any different than you. It's like when Marvin told me I was being stubborn but he wasnt cause he was confident in his argument, I was also confident in my argument, but I was stubborn and he wasnt, I think that was one of the threads you actually chimed in on. If you have some issues that are pissing you off, feel free to send me a personal message.
First, this is not a stab at you, but it looks better when what you say are in paragraphs and not lumped together.

And yeah, you're stating your opinions, but there's a way to state them without coming off like an ass.

Like, not calling people morons, or Telling people to "Deal with it." Remember in the (New) New Avengers thread, what I wrote about Peter being a leader? I wrote that with respect, and tried not to target anyone. I mean, yes, I wanted to curse a lot of people out, but I took the other road while still stating my opinion.

And I don't only go after you. I probably at one point went after everyone here. You know how people say Black Panther sucks? That makes me like the character in the first place or like them more. I've always been that type of person. "You hate something? I'll have to like it three times more to balance it out." A lot of people don't like x-23, I like her more for it. A lot of people don't like storm, well, that pisses my off becasue I look up to her in a way.
I know she's just a comicbook character, but she's a strong black one.

I'mma be real now. In most of my life, I have not liked black people. I mean, I've been watching the news since I was 3 or younger and had to see that "Black people were doing bad things." I was basically forced to watch TV shows Like Martin, Fresh Prince, Soul Train, so I was getting that shoved down my throat. I don't like rap because I was forced to listen to it at a younger age. But there was one thing that I did like that featured a beautiful cast of colors: X-men - The animated series. That's where I first meet storm.

I've always saw her as a powerful woman, and growing up gay you had to at least have one. She had God-like powers: Weather control. I used to always pretend I had those powers. To this day I still imaging what I could do with those powers. So yes, in my eyes she's a goddess.

Now, on the woman front, I can't respect them too much, I don't. I've had girl friends who've stayed in abusive relationships. Hell, My mother was one of them. I mean, it screws you up when you're a child and you have to see it everyday. And everytime I saw it, know what I thought? "Why won't you run away?" "it's not worth it." "You don't have to deal with it." but they stay with the guy, or go back if they do run. How can I respect someone like that. (I know all women aren't like that, btw)

And another thing, I can't trust women either. Many reasons. They always made fun of me in school, they cheated, or the dumbest reason of all, I can't trust women because the one person in my life who I trusted the most died when I needed them the most.

Which brings me back to Storm. Yes, she's a comic book character, but she's the oppisite of everything I hate. She would never let a man put a hand on her. She will always be there and never leave you (She's a comic character, I'll die before she does) And she's Black. And adding to that, she's proud that she is.

Many people would say that me getting mad about people bashing Storm is me "Catching Feeling." I'm not gonna lie, I am catching feelings. She is my favorite female character of all time. I can't help but get mad. I never knock Sentry, I barely knock Superman, and it's okay if someone likes Cyclops. I know that people like these characters, so I try my best not to step on someone's feeling because I know they may have a strong connection with them. I'm not asking you to change your opinions, i'm not asking you to censor yourself. All I ask is that you think deeply before you say what you believe can't affect someone because they're just words.

Great thanks for the facts, doesnt change anything. The Nullifier, yea I was wrong, but thats besides the point cause my point was that 3 of the smartest minda on earth created that hammer, it's not to be underestimated. That resistance isnt much, it really doesn't matter cause we see mutants get hurt by conventional means all the time, so that means absolutely nothing, her mutant resistance isnt enough to save her from a Hammer swung at full force. The goddess thing, fact - no matter how many people think she's worthy, she aint a goddess. That hole straw through a wall thing is bull****, have you ever watched mythbusters, they tested that myth, guess what, its a myth, not a fact:oldrazz:, it couldn't make it through a piece of wood let alone a wall. Dr. Doom aint Thor, he isnt a clone of Thor, so it doesnt matter what Storm did to Doom. Also besides her lightning none of her other weather powers will matter against Clor, so who cares about what else she can do. Her leading the X-Men while powerless means nothing in this fight. Oh and thats pretty ****ed up if she mad just because one of her BLACK friends got killed, the race thing shouldn't matter, her being pissed cause one of her friends died is fine, but becuase he's Black is bull**** and if it's just cause he was black than that just adds to why I dont like Storm. It would be like white people being pissed at Scarlet Witch for killing Haweye, cause he was a fellow white man, no they should be pissed because she killed him, not because he was a white man. I've read all of Civil War and it's tie-ins, I dont know what your reading but Goliath wasnt treated like crap at all by his fellow supporters, ever.

indeed.

IMO, he shouldn't have a problem getting through her wind gusts or hail, if he is anywhere near Thor's power level. So chances are he can get close enough, but that my opinion, and that's what this stupid arguement comes down to, so we'll see what happens. We all might as well stop debating and just let this thread die out.:o

Also besides her lightning none of her other weather powers will matter against Clor, so who cares about what else she can do.
She can freeze him, burn him to death, sink him into the earth, hold him back with powerful wind gust, ect, ect, ect.

The fact is that Clor has little battle experiance and we don't even know how much fundamental training. He is so far beneath the real Thor even in purely physical combat that there is little grounds of comparison. Those who created Clor are not expert hth combatants and none of them has ever wielded that kind of physical power so they themselves have virtually nothing to pass on even if they have the means. Clor's battle technique is going to be on the same level as your average little kid. Yes he will kill Storm if he connects but I don't think that is likely. Much more likely is that Storm will destroy first his hammer and then him with lightning. Even if Clor has immunity to lightning Storm can still use the wind to blow debris at high velocity and try to kill him with simple physical trauma. If she blows a sharp piece of rebar or steel girder into Clor at the speed of sound Clor will die. They each have the potential power to kill the other. The question is who will use their potential better a new being with little real experiance or someone who has trained intensively for many years and has experianced battle of nearly every sort in every environment.

No I dont take it as a stab, but whether it's in paragraph form or not, doesn't matter, if you dont want to read it cause it's not in paragraph form, well thats your choice. The whole "dont call people morons ot deal with it" isnt a big deal there are people on these threads who do a lot worse, people who you have told me to ignore, so if you dont like it, sorry to sound like an ass, but either ignore it or deal with it.

Thats the same thing with me, everybody hates Clor, well I like him that much more cause people hate him.

To quote you: Doesn't change a thing who made it.

That hole straw through a wall thing is bull****, have you ever watched mythbusters, they tested that myth, guess what, its a myth, not a fact:oldrazz:, it couldn't make it through a piece of wood let alone a wall.

Cool! Good to know! Now, living in the path of most hurricanes I know what those winds can do first hand. And the coolest thing of all? The fight is taking place in a city where there's not one piece of straw but a whole mess of other deadly projectiles.:D:up:

Dr. Doom aint Thor, he isnt a clone of Thor, so it doesnt matter what Storm did to Doom.

It doesn't matter that Doom isn't Thor since Clor isn't, either. You should read Secret Wars (the first one) so you can see who was the person who had the tech to get the Beyonder's powers. Answer: Doom. Thor? Taken down like a punk.

Also besides her lightning none of her other weather powers will matter against Clor, so who cares about what else she can do.

Thor IS vulnerable to the other weather effects, he's not proof against cold or scalding heat. Why would Clor be any better?

Her leading the X-Men while powerless means nothing in this fight.

It means she knows what to do when the odds are against her and when she's out of her class.

Dude, read my post again and you'll see that I said one of her friends got killed and then I added the black part because I know it matters to Hudlin and he already reflected it through the characters. It's not because of race, the race issue exacerbates it but the fact is that she was already mourning the loss of a friend regardless of color.

I've read all of Civil War and it's tie-ins, I dont know what your reading but Goliath wasnt treated like crap at all by his fellow supporters, ever.

Really? I guess you missed the part where they didn't shrink him down, used a crane, didn't use a casket and just surrounded him with a tarp and put him in a hole. No monument, no attempts to compensate his family or anything of the matter. If that isn't treating him like $h!t to you then I don't really have anything to say to you.

And I don't hate or like clor. He's just "there" for me.

She can freeze him, burn him to death, sink him into the earth, hold him back with powerful wind gust, ect, ect, ect.

IYO not mine though. She hasnt done it so how can you say she can? Has she done it to Thor? If so than your statement holds water, if not than it doesn't.

That wasnt by his fellow supporters though buddy.:whatever: Haha nice try.:oldrazz:

She has and I thought you wanted the thread to die.
Her powers are not limited to the air and clouds. She can create earthquakes and cause volcanno eruptions, ect.
Has she done it to Thor? If so than your statement holds water, if not than it doesn't.
No she hasn't done it to Thor, before. I don't think there has ever been a reason to. But it doesn't mean my reasoning doesn't hold water.

This thread Should basically be called Clor and Supermarvelman vs Storm and Superherohype.com.

Yes it does.
