Clor gonna get a whuppin!

This thread has devolved.:csad:

I SOOOOOOO wish I'd been here the last coupla' days to help it along.:woot:

Anyways, even if Thor is invulnerable to super extreme cold, I doubt the metal inside Clor is though, since it's electrical. Storm freezes the wires and everything, the insulation, whatever, and Clor is toast or at the least temporarily incapacitated.

Storm can also open holes in the atmosphere, and then throw Clor up into space. If the force is pulling directly up, there is no way he can resist, he is frozen in space, wher again, the extreme temperature damages Clor's mechanics if not his organic material.

Storm's weather powers will always trump Clor's no matter if they come from his Mech-Mjolnir ot his cloned heritage. This is because in situation a with the hammer, Storm's powers outclass anything mechanical because she has a wider vareity of abilities (wind, precipiation, lightning, etc.) and likely more raw power. If the powers are inherent, Clor is untrained and thus is power is unrefined. He has little to no experience and training. Storm has countless years of training and is thus a greater combatant with the weather.

Storm will not be bashed by the hammer because she can move herself with her winds and she has assasin like reaction time because of her intense physical training and can push herself around with wind at incredible speeds. Seeing as that it's a mechanical hammer, not Mjolnir, only a certain amount of ability can be brought to the table with it in comparison to the original (as in Thor could throw Mjolnir and bring it back to him, if Clor threw fake Mjolnir, he'd likely have to go get the hammer himself).

Storm will not win this fight and neither will Clor. It will definetly be interrupted. This match is way too death-to-loser in appearance, with neither character able to afford a loss at this point. Storm can't die, she is way to ongoing a character to die at this point. Clor needs to be around for a brawl later on with bigger characters for Civil War. He's way to easy a "Thug-for-Hire" after Civil War. I honest to god just want to see real Thor come back and literally break his neck like a twig and throw him into oblivion.

I dont want to get into this again, but I just want to point out your wrong about him having to go get his hammer, if you reread Civil War 4, you'll see that he throws it out and it returns right back to him. Also Clor isn't present as one of the combatants for the battle in Civil War 6-7, so he could afford to die, but he probably wont. They will keep him around to eventually meet Thor, probably get his ass beat by Thor, but whether Thor kills him or try's to help him, who really knows. Also I'm not positive so I'm going to check on this, but I dont recall ever seeing or hearing in any comic related to CW that Thor was part machine at all, why would he have to be he's a clone not a cyborg, Ben Reily was a clone he didn't have mechanical parts, so maybe I'm wrong, but is everybody just assuming that he has mechanical parts?

I'm sure he's a cyborg. Reed had to "shut hm down," like with a fail safe code. Also, Reed had to operate on him to fix his programming. Clone or not, you shouldn't be able to "fix" someone like that unless they have machine in them.

Thas true, but he's only had to operate on his head. His hole body doesn't have to be mechanical, the machanical implants might only be in his head. Given that is the most critical spot to have something implanted that Storm could either get fried, frozen, or electrocuted. I'm just pointing out that him being a Cyborg hasn't really been proven, it's just an assumption, dont get me wrong I'm not trying to say that even the smallest implant wouldn't help Storm, I just had a few questions.

I saw something the other day on discovery channel, this guy was paralyzed from the neck down, this guys had a meachical implant in his brain that allowed him to move the mouse on the computer screen by thinking it, no joke, they doing research to try and make remote implants that could correct but not repair paralasys. Anyway thats besides the point or question.

Does a small mechanical brain implant make this guy a cyborg? Isn't he still just a man? So even if Clor is a clone, isnt he still just a clone?

If it were me, and I could "talk" to machines, I would then be beyond human. I don't know what that would be called, but cyborg comes pretty close.

...I wanna talk to machines:csad:

But is that man a Cyborg? I wouldn't call him one, so IMO, if Clor has something that small in his head I personally wouldn't call that a Cyborg, he would just be a clone, with a microchip in hus head.

'Nuff said.;)

Thank you thats what I was trying to get cleared up. So you would call Clor a Cyborg?

i want hulk to beat him, because hulk can and would destroy him.

So it's finally settled? Clor is just a cyborg with Thor DNA spliced to Pym cybernetics?

Heck,... I'm surprised Herc didn't beat his azz.

Nah, it's not settled until we find out more from the source. So far we know it's a cloned being with cybernetics, we still don't know what the cyber to organic ratio is. I also noticed that Sue had a drop of blood coming out of one of her nostrils after protecting the rebels from Clor's mega lightning blast so it looks like it packs quite a wallop (he "called it down" and didn't channel it through himself, though). It's still Hudlin's title so I think the odds are still in the BP/Storm camp.

Clor vs Thor I can't wait!! Thor mania is running wild, VERILY!

I could see that ending like a cheezy anime. Both Thor's swing at each other and appear unharmed... but after a pannel or two we see that the mechanical hammer has been shattered.... Nah... too cliché.. I would hope the real Thor would just give him a true beatdown.

Id Clor could stand up to Thor the way you just said, then Clor would definetly kick Storms ass.

Technically anyone with artificial parts is a cyborg. Even a person with a wooden pegleg is a cyborg.

Okay, I found my copy of Civil War #6. On page 3 or 4 (do you count the intro page?), Tony contacts Reed who is in the Baxter Building performing surgery on Clor. Quote: "Reed, it's Tony. How's the Thor Cyborg's reprograming coming along? Have you found out what the problem was?"
(Sorry folks, I don't have a scanner.)

So the people who created him refer to him as a cyborg.

Actually, SS, cyborg is an abbreviation for cybernetic organism. So an artificial limb wouldn't qualify, unless it was cybernetically operated.
