I wonder if Earth is unique in that sense, or if all/some of the other life-supporting MU planets have spawned similar gods too. It'd be nice to see something like a skrull god of thunder, kree god of lies, or shi'ar counterpart of Mephisto.

Maybe yes, maybe no. The armor is bigger and has more room for equipment and power sources. Cybernetic links to Tony's mind make control faster and more precise. Tony also has more experiance. On the other hand Storm has extraordinarily powerful lightning, emp generation, and weather control effects to either cloak her or attack. Even Iron Man might have a very hard time dealing with a tornado. A fight between them, I think, could go either way depending on a lot of factors. Tony has more protection and Storm has more skill and training. In the end though I think that Tony is racking up a lot of bad karma that will bite him on the backside sooner or later. Probably sooner.

Not sure what's your guys' excuse, but I just commented about how insanely overpowered Storm had become over the years and that her 'willpower prowess' was complete BS and should've been nerfed back in the days.

My Storm knowledge wasn't exactly extensive and I didn't remember some of the preposterous s*** she pulled (warding off Charles f****n Xavier!? WTF???). The way Storm fans keep going on and on about how her being that strong makes any sense actually got me to somewhat hate the character. Which I didn't a week ago.

So yeah, I'm mostly here out of sheer spite. t:

Actually, I dont' care at all for Clor. I'm just saying she has no business beating a guy who can stand in the middle of a f****n hurricane and just laugh it off.

And I only refered to her as '*****-goddess-queen of the universe' once for the sake of theatrics.

Most of my criticism for the character have to do with CC having her do insane feats just because he wanted her to.

Even used a simple RPG-ish analogy in other thread. Something about how most mutants get 30 pts at character creation while she got a whopping 75.

He was the writer of the character for almost 25 years, he pretty much defined what she could do in comic, so can you really get mad if his version of Storm doesn't fit your view of her.

I personally hate some of the stuff Grant Morrision and Greg Pak did to Jean Grey but in the end I have accept it as fact.

What I'm saying is that if Storm cant defeat Ironman by freezing or frying his armor or circuits when he's covered in the stuff, why would she beable to beat Clor, who has much less metal and circuits in his body, and most likely has the phsyical attributes of Thor. I just think that if Storm were to try and fry his cybernetic implants, all it would do is destroy the implants that prevent him from killing again, and that would not be good for Storm.

One doesn't just become an omega level mutant, you just are an omega level mutant, whether you use or realize your full potential or not is up to the character, like Iceman he is an omega level mutant but it is very unlikely that he will ever try to get to the levels he's capable of. He has been doing some pretty crazy stuff lately though, he just reformed himself from a single crystal of ice.
