This is the first year where WB might dominate the Oscars with (potentially) this, Argo, Dark Knight Rises, and The Hobbit part 1. Makes sense that Gravity got pushed back, (and the CGI)

So, apparently the film has no Wachowski zany camerawork. When reading the book, I always pictured those Christopher Nolan hard cuts to transition between stories.

Rated R for violence, language, sexuality/nudity and some drug use.

Funny, the novel was a light R, could've been a PG-13 film with very minor alterations.

With a few tweaks, yes the movie could have been PG-13. Then again, cannibalism (among other dark things) features prominently in the novel. So it's no surprise that it received an R-rating.

Despite having been shown NOTHING, as I`ve been very curious about this one, a release date of October 26th has been announced.

Think a trailer could be with "The Dark Knight Rises"?

The book is so wonderful, I've faith that Tykwer & The Wachowskis will not only do the book justice but make it able to stand on its own as a film. October is not that far away so hope a trailer will arrive soon, dying to see the visuals, from Sonmi's section to Zachry's.

I agree. I LOVE the matrix trilogy despite the flawed sequels. But I feel like they haven`t made anything solid since then. I hoping this film can completely change that perception, cause this could be f****ng awesome.

Moving it to October is a smart move but it sucks I have to wait until early next year. Oh well, as it has changed release date, maybe we'll receive a trailer soon.

I didn't even think of a potential trailer for Cloud Atlas in front of TDKR. I hope it comes, since they've already had test screenings.

With WB opening this in October , WB needs to promote this asap.
TDKR obviously would be a good start though i do think that promoting this the right way would be more important. Above all try to control expectations.

TDKR should only have WB trailers/teasers. They have too many films coming out that need recognition.
