The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Colm Feore - Who is he?

I wont argue that Masse is more sinister looking, but from what I have seen Feore is a better actor. If Feore is cast as Norman and Masse is left in the cold I wont be disappointed.

As far as Norman is concerned,I think the look and the sinister vibe matters as much as acting
I am not asking for either of them as Norman.Someone apart from them.But between them,I would prefer Masse

I think looks and vibes can change with actual acting. Masse might have a photographic sinisterness (word?) but I am sure that if Feore was cast as Norman he would be able to sell the look and the vibe.

I'm still willing to bet we'll have a Feore-as-Norman / Masse-as-Goblin role, as someone suggested earlier. At least it's the most exciting idea I can think of, so we get to keep Masse

the fact that massee's face was purposefully kept in the dark allows them to recast if he was indeed meant to be norman.

i only know what massee looks like because i googled him after seeing his name in the credits; i doubt the general audience will even notice a recast if colm plays osborn.

Imo Feore could make a good Jameson. I don't really believe that he'd be considered for Norman, and craming Adrian Toomes in the movie would be too much so imo him being Jameson is the most likely option

Also, I firmly believe that Massee is Norman Osborn. He may not look exactly like Norman in the comics, but at least more than Willem Dafoe, and even on portraying crazyness imo Massee could easily beat Dafoe

I'm thinking of Feore as Osborne and, yeah, I can see it - resembles the Osborne of the comics more than Funboy does [who, as people have said, seems to look more like Dafoe].

i really dont see how any one thinks massee will be norman or goblin. its obviousley colm feore. im gonna call it now. rhino will have a fight cameo, electro will be the main villian. goblin will surface at the end and kill gwen. the movie will end with gwens funeral. id even wager that electro will try to redeem himself by helping spider man defeat goblin at the end and gets apprehended or killed or something.

I am not sure how he'd fit into the story, but, Colm is pretty uncanny for Roderick Kingsley

That would be a nice way to set up Hobgoblin. I wish they would just announce who he and Felicity are playing. I hate how studios do this for comic book movies.

I'm on the ASM2 forum near everyday waiting for this news specifically. If he's not Osborn, I'm ecstatic. If he is Osborn, I'm slightly less ecstatic.

He resembles Vulture. I'm just not convinced they are going to use Vulture. I think JJ has a bigger chance of appearing in this movie than Vulture, whether that's Feore's role or not.

That COULD work if Norman Osborn is behind everything and then pops up as Green Goblin? Norman would need to be pretty well-developed by then, though.

Yeah I don't really want to see much with Goblin until TASM3. The story they are setting up deserves its own film- considering Goblin kills Gwen. I don't know if it'll work that way, but thats preferable to me.

So confused now. Normally I'd just say "oh he mustve just replaced Massee" and gone on with my life, but then I read this:

“There is a silhouette as Peter enters Oscorp on a display, which reads our founder, Norman Osborn. And there is a back-story which I will not reveal. We wanted to convey that there were more forces at work than you may have initially thought. That’s all I can say about that.”

Straight from the Webb himself. So is the man in the shadows someone completely different? WHO?!
