STARZ'S COMIC BOOK SPECIAL

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]After a quick introduction through the history of comic-book films, the special is essentially broken into six chapters. The first four feature the big franchises -- X-Men, Spider-Man, Batman and Superman. The fifth focuses on the difficulty of bringing female lead characters to the big screen, and the sixth spotlights graphic novels, and such films as Sin City, V for Vendetta and Road to Perdition.
