i know we still have today, maybe they will surprise us. A lot of big movie news has also been announced the week after comic con.

I'm kinda more eager for a confirmation of a third season. But, I'm sure that footage would be a treat for the fans in attendance.

I am too. It would be a shame not to renew that show. I am more so waiting to hear news on that front than I am on SM4.

Dude, do your best not to sound ignorant with that statement. Anything could've happened. Hell, we even got a picture of Sandman around 2 years or less away from 'Spider-Man 3's release. So, it was hard not to press our luck with this time. Come on... Don't tell me that you yourself didn't have an ounce of faith in something.

We aren't getting anything. We may get comfrimation from Avi Arad about the progress of the 4th film. They aren't showing a teaser poster or telling who the villians are.

The bolded part was my faith in something. I don't think any villians have been announced at Comic Con two years before the movie comes out. Doc Ock wasn't revealed untill 2003. Sandman wasn't revealed untill November '05 (Although Dunst spilled the beans in September). Venom was supposed to be kept secret untill 2006 Comic Con where they showed footage. I'm not sure about Green Goblin in the first movie. So, no, I didn't expect a villain announcment this past weekend. I did expect someone to give progress on the 4th film and where they stand at the moment, but we didn't even get that.


Now, I do expect something toward the end of the year. It could be a casting announcemt or a picture(like Sandman's). But with the script getting some finishing touches, don't expect anything for 2-3 months.
