The next three episodes sound like so much fun. Of course zombies are next then Abed becomes a mean girl then PUPPY PARADE!

I notice this show is focusing less on Jeff this year . Which is kind of weird since he his the main character

dear god no. but this guy seems to have... talent.

He's already directed two in the Fast & Furious franchise. He's directed three episodes, the Halloween one, interpretive dance and Paintball. He will be missed.

Damn that sucks :(

Which reboot are they talking about? I see he's attached to a Highlander remake

6 "Epidemiology" October 28, 2010 *Special Time 830/730c*
Pierce and a few other Greendale students ingest a bio-hazard substance at the school Halloween Party, causing them to exhibit flu-like symptoms and they soon begin turning into zombies. It is up to the rest of the gang to save themselves and the school when Dean Pelton locks them in with the zombie-infected student body.

7 "Aerodynamics of Gender" November 4, 2010
After a classroom smackdown with a group of "mean girls" led by Meghan (Hilary Duff), Britta, Shirley, and Annie bond with Abed by turning him into the ultimate "mean girl." Meanwhile, Jeff and Troy embrace a zen-like spirituality under the guidance of a groundskeeper when they come across a secret trampoline on campus. Determined to uncover the source of their new bliss, Pierce ends up taking a disastrous turn on the trampoline and lands in the hospital.

8 "Cooperative Calligraphy" November 11, 2010
When Annie's pen goes missing, she suspects a member of her own study group is the thief. On a mission to find the pen and solve the mystery, the group takes a self-imposed lockdown and Jeff takes the lead in conducting the search. Meanwhile, Troy and Abed are itching to get out of the study room to make it to the Greendale Puppy Parade taking place in the quad.

Wow, I didn't know Justin Lin had done those shows! Those are great episodes, he will be missed.

This sounds amazing on every single level.

that sounds almost Lost like ( the JEff and Troy bit)

Ive been saying for a while that this show is the "LOST" of comedies. Seriously go back and watch eps over and you'll notice something absolutely hilarious you didnt notice on previous viewings

Anyone think the show would benefit from those documentary style confessionals ala Office and Mod Fam?

No.
Maybe in an episode done as a parody of those shows.
But that would only be funny BECAUSE it would be a parody of those shows... also considering COMMUNITY followed THE OFFICE no?

The best thing about this show is the referances and satiric look at EVERYTHING, especially formulaic sitcoms/movies.
A majority of their episodes seems to focus on the cliches of storytelling in general.

What else would they do with him, really? I'm glad it's becoming more of an ensemble show and focusing less on Jeff. Troy and Abed's ending segments are a fairly disproportionate part of my reason for watching at this point. Not that the show itself is getting bad or anything; those ending segments are just awesome most of the time. :D

From TVGuide.com. Five things to know about tonight's Community:

TV Guide said:
1. The Costumes Get Weirder: Last year's disguises were just the tip of the iceberg. Look out for Senor Chang's homage to Peggy Flemming, complete with a '60s-style leotard to show off his legs. "My fans tweet me all the time that I'm inarguably the sex symbol of the show," Ken Jeong jokes.

2. There Was Intense Preparation Behind the Scenes: For Troy's many shirtless scenes, Donald Glover stuck to a diet of egg whites and almonds. Danny Pudi says he gave himself a cold, and the cast watched Dawn of the Dead during the week of filming to "immerse" themselves in the zombie genre. "I think it's helpful that all of our shoots this week were night shoots," Pudi says. "At night, I become creepy, so this works out real well."

3. Expect Plenty of Action: Many of the cast members required stunt doubles for the episode, and Jeong says to keep an eye out for Troy's action scenes in particular, calling Glover "the next action hero." Luckily for Glover, hitting a zombie doesn't have many moral repercussions. "You've read the laws, its domestic abuse unless she's a zombie," he jokes. "Then it's just good fun."

4. No More Ms. Nice Shirley: Harmon says a chain of events that begins in the Halloween episode will lead to a slightly more cynical Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown). "I don't want to say [we] test her faith, but I want to subject her to some experiences that kind of explore what shape her faith actually takes," Harmon says. "I want to find out what's underneath."

5. Could This Episode Lead to Season 3?: Harmon says the Halloween episode is just as daring as last year's paintball episode, which featured nods to classic action movies such as Die Hard and Terminator. "It will either get me promoted or fired," he says.

is it true Community is in danger of being canceled?

Holy ****. Have we finally found an episode that surpasses Modern Warfare?

And now Troy is in the Ripley costume to Mamma Mia. We sure have.

That was officially the best Halloween episode of anything evas!!!

Shirley and Chang did it!

"Why did he call me?"

That was amazing...

Dan Harmon's tweet from earlier today was; "This episode is either going to promote me or get me fired."

lol

Some would say ABBA and zombies don't mix. Community says, "Yes they do."
