Replace Family Guy with The Simpsons and we're set.

Another amazing episode...

By the way, this show is not only the greatest comedy ever but also is the greatest tv commentaries ever...

"That was about as much fun as cleaning up the gulf." is the greatest ending to any commentary ever.

aparently Kevin Corrigan has just been cast as a guest professor

:D

@GillianJacobs
Tonight's episode features a lot of Leonard, played by the brilliant Richard Erdman. Go on imdb.com. His first credit is from 1944!!!!!

He's 85 years old, always need more Leonard.

Not just the quality drop, I just think it would be good because after 4 years they move out of the college right?

Hmm, yea that's true.
I hadn't even thought about that.

I don't know how I'd feel about COMMUNITY post college.
Especially if they try to make the show about the individual characters post-grad doing their own thing and meeting up and having escapades.

Eh, I guess. I never understood the appeal of Big Bang Theory, personally. Watched like 2 episodes and then never bothered again.

It's a very nerd-centric show.
Having said that, my GF loves it and shes not a gamer/comic lover/movie enthusiast/sci fi fanatic at all.

I'm surprised it's doing as well as it is given the content and theme of the show.

^That is why I'm scared. This show is too smart, too good. Look at Arrested Development, very few got their jokes and you know the story...

It's sad we live in a world where the "best comedy", per ratings/awards, are dumb-sex-on-the-nose jokes by Charlie Sheen, mentally handicapped comedy by Steve Carrell and singing crap from Glee.

HONEST TO GOD!!
I DO NOT understand how TWO AND A HALF MEN have been SO successful.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it, but it's nowhere near BBT or Community.
Poo and sex and stupid jokes (literally... jokes about the kid being stupid) are all the show runs on.
Bah!

Excuse the caps-****ing.

Well CC is usually 2 years not the 4 of a regular college. I suppose they could graduate them to a regular college to finish their degrees (like many CC students do) or they could have their careers and still go there part time (like doing one class) just for something to do. I did a semester at CC when I was 17 and you would be surprised how many people who have degrees already or how many senior citizens attend just for something to do.

The Dean's statement in the pilot, lol, they even panned to Pierce at that moment. Classic...

I'm a guy that spent 4 years at CC and only got my 2 year degree. Now, there are extended reasons for that, however it does happen. And on top of that, the CC i went to, which was pretty low class and more akin to 13th and 14th grade, actually had numerous 4 year programs, and even a few 6 year programs.

But like you said, a good amount of people that go to CC are either a) those that already have degrees or b) senior citizens/parents with empty nest syndrome.

Yeah, there's no reason why it can't keep going. Imagine how fun it'll be when they don't "need" the grade, they just show up to do some pottery or music appreciation or some or yoga!

I agree. Two and a Half Men is probably one of the biggest overhyped sitcoms I have EVER seen.

Yahoo is rumoring that Community is a goner...

What the hell, NBC?

If they kill this show I will burn their lot down.
