After watching half of the episodes with commentary I believe every fan needs the dvd to listen to the commentary. The commentaries are just as funny as the show. Theres one where Chevy has no idea what's going on, one when Joel is late and calls Alison to get directions, and everyone calling Yvette a raging alcoholic. I could rewatch the episodes with commentary as many times I could watch the show.

i rarely watch anything with commentary, but one movie i watched and thought it was as funny as the movie itself was 40 year old virgin

Had no idea how hilarious and genius this show was. Caught an ep at a friends place then came home last night and watched every episode that was On Demand until 2am. Abhed is one of the best characters ever made.

Reminds me of an old show in terms of writing and format but can't remember which one.

Like Troy said...its a show with a flimsy narrative peppered with cheery renditions of pop songs.

Or like both Annie Jeff said, unoriginal, uninspired that simply resorts to cheap ploys--the pop songs and random celebrity guest stars as 'teachers' as opposed to creative storytelling.

Think of it as how "Family Guy," used to to it with their multiple random cuts every show.

As long as Glee is beating Community in the ratings they will make fun of Glee. Community and Glee are filmed on the same lot next to each other and the producers of Community want to make fun of them as much as possible.
