Even the 'non epic' episodes are STILL epic in their sheer scope! It's brilliant how huge this show gets within it's own world. From the size of Fluffy Town to the constant conspiriracies....it was brilliant.

Its their subtle hint that the writers haven't forgot about the Annie/Britta/Jeff triangle...

they even touched upon it with Britta when she gave them a 'look' when Jeff talked about how Annie went off-script during the shootout.
