Long term side effect of the pandemic, I imagine. And studios are still adapting to the streaming age, so audiences know they don't need to wait as long to see certain films at home. Plus, tickets aren't getting cheapter!The issue is people have been trained to wait to watch non-event films at home because they know they’ll be able to rent them in a week or two.
