Okay, so who should score the second Origins flick? I think HG-W Should come back. I quite enjoyed his origins theme.

I also feel like I'm the only one who did:csad:

OH hell no, HGW's score for Wolvie was freakin amazing.

His style fits so perfectly with Wolverine and the music was just as good as the X-men movies.

So he should absolutely come back. no reason for him not to. I guess the X-films have a habit of having inconsistent music though. I dont mind it.

Agree, Mansell should be the composer since he's the frequent collaborator when it comes to music for Aronofsky's movies, his score on The Fountain is wonderful and Requiem For a Dream is haunting (The Kronos Quartet ) and I also like the score for Moon.

I would prefer Gregson-Williams to come back because one thing I have hated about the X-Men movies has been the lack of a consistent score, there is nothing like going to watch a sequel in a cinema and hearing that familiar music come on during the opening credits, sadly I have never had that with an X-Men movie so would like it to happen here for once.

Well maybe that is a good thing, so people can forget about that horrible movie.

oh **** Clint Mansell, I forgot that he comes along with Aronofsky.

That would be amazing. honestly Whoever gets it Im happy. Im sure it will be fantastic.

Well Libatique is in so I guess Mansell's involvement is inevitable.

Aronofsky said in a recent video interview by David Poland (in the Director thread) that he will have his whole "team" with him so I'm also assuming Mansell is involved.

It was reported yesterday that Clint Mansell will not be scoring "Source Code" because of "scheduling conflicts" so hopefully that means he will be joining Darren and scoring this movie.

They won't need a composer until after filming ends, unless Marshall works like Hans Zimmer and starts working on it based on the script.

Mansell much prefer to be onboard early of a project to get sense of the idea of the movie and where to head in terms of composing music and such, especially on a Aronofsky movie.

Well Mansell has worked on all of Aronofsky's films. So I'm gonna say that it's a good bet that he will be doing the score for this one.

I think Clint Mansell is onboard but we'll see. Hopefully we have confirmation soon.

Mansell is one of the finest composers (and underated) working in American cinema today. He's most likely on board and will deliver something unique and haunting.
