When it comes to computers, would you consider yourself to be more of a desktop person or more of a laptop person?

Laptop now. I only had a desktop for years, but it sucks ass compared to having a laptop.

I actually need to get a laptop for my job. I have to call these computer guys to give me the spec of what I'd need for a computer so it could give me optimum use out of a computer aided design software.

Desktop all the way, never seen a need for a laptop

Desktop. I'm already addicted, so I don't need to be taking a computer with me to make it worse.

Desktop. I don't need a laptop really. I don't need one for work or anything.

I use my laptop a lot more than my desktop. It basically acts as a server now.

Had a desktop for years, hated it. Craved a laptop. Got a laptop, was awesome for a few months, but it just wasn't as powerful as I wanted. And I used it as a home computer anyway. Had to get a 200GB external harddrive. So the laptop's HDD died on me and I got a desktop. 21" widescreen monitor, 500GB HDD, and all that processor stuff. It's shweet.

I love my desktop. Don't have to worry about battery life and it's stable, easier to upgrade and more powerful. The only laptop I'd consider getting now is a MacBook though, for outside home work.

Both actually....

Desktop for gaming, and Laptop for my school applications and assignments that need to be typed / researched.

When I moved out to university, I bought a laptop. I hate it now, the next computer I get will definitely be a desktop  Like Catman said, I don't need to be on the Hype EVERYWHERE I go.

My laptop is the only computer I've ever owned.
But it some point I will set myself up with a desktop.
