Like I said, whoever is in charge of promoting this film already screwed up bad. Hopefully, some of the later Con's should have some damn presence.

*sigh* Guess we are suppose to wait for awhile then

It's crazy, was at least expecting a poster lol, maybe a pic of the cast would have been nice. Shoot anything would have been good.

Too early, they haven't been fiming that long and overall the choices they have made on this movie have garnered some ill favor from the fans. I bet they are waiting until they have something good to ctually bring to the table before they come forward, if that happens.

Last thing the studio wants is another Pathfinder. hat movie was fairly hyped and left very sour taste in most people's mouth.

sorry if somebody already posted this:

The first pic isn't coming up for me, at least the bigger version.

They finished filming a while ago.

I think that the week before the Con started they fnished filming. Not a good sign they had no showing at the event like he said.

Be interesting to see if the other Cons get anything.

He looks like a caveman in that second pic. Meh.

Same director from Friday the 13th, no doubt this will suck. Just depends how much.

I find him to look Conanesque enough but I am no expert on the subject.
I have a feeling that this movie will be like Solomon Kane, few theatrical release and/or direct to dvd release in some country but the movie will be good overall.

Well, the difference is that Solomon Kane still has no U.S. distributor, whereas Conan does(Lionsgate). Also, Conan is a more popular/mainstream name than Solomon Kane, so there is that factor. It will obviously depend also on how much money will Lionsgate put for promotion and how much money will Millenium Films put for distribution on other countries.

You're probably right hopefully but it was only a feeling sometime they're right but often not :)

Anything is possible. Just keep in mind that director Jame McTiegue, while he did a very mediocre job on "Ninja Assasin", he did a nice job on "V For Vendetta". Or Stephen Norrington; he did the awful "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", but at the same time he did the always awesome "Blade". Some directors can have their moments, despite some bad or mediocre work on their resume. Marcus Nispel might do a much better job here than he did with "Pathfinder". Here's hoping.

Personally, the Friday The 13th remake was not bad for a tired franchise.

You mean the guy who did the best made film in the entire franchise?

"Best made"...?

As in production design, special effects, technical work, etc. All that takes is a decent budget...Pathfinder was also pretty well made, but doesn't mean it is a good film.

I thought it was the best made film in the series outside of part 6. Or course, Nispel didn't have to resport to constant puns and in jokes, he just made a brutal, direct slasher flick.

I liked it for what it was. Didn't expect high drama and art house awards about a story with Fantasy Vikings vs. fantasy Native Americans.

Yeah it wasn't bad, not a favorite or anything but some good action.

I'd say it is a better indicator of what he can do for Conan than Friday.
