Jesus Christ all of these designs are god awful. I actually appreciate everything they used in the movie even more now having seen these.

Couldn't agree more. I love what we got in the film for spidey suit and Lizard designs, especially seeing what they could have looked like!

And I can't stand the underarm tassel webs on Spidey's suit, I pray Webb doesn't try incorporating them into future chapters. Shudder.

I already liked the suit we got in the movie, but I appreciate it even more after seeing some of the ideas they had. A lot of ugly designs.

I do hope they put out a concept art book or something...like Marvel has been doing with the MCU movies.

True. Maybe they'll put it in some type of ASM Collector's Edition...the CE of Spider-Man 2 came with a booklet of concepts and artwork.

It's interesting that all of the Spidey concept art has silver webbing. It's almost as if the designers only used the Raimi suit for reference and not the comic suit...

I love checking out all of the Lizard's various designs. Really makes me wish they went with the third piece. That too me LOOKS like the Lizard. It was the best of both worlds. He didn't necessarily have a snout but his teeth made him look intimidating.

I think the most unique change to the costume that I ever seen was the fourth Spidey outfit down form the top. With the logo over his heart. So cool looking.

I agree with this! Out of all those designs, this one that you mentioned, and the one that looks very similar to the Raimi suit would have been my preferred alternatives. BUT I love what we got, so I'm glad they didn't choose them.

Agreed. Like I said, I loved what we got now, but that red strip forming a "belt" would have made it perfect for me.

I would have to agree. The shoes wasn't annoying in the film as I thought so I could simply let that pass as a poor kid's way of having "boots" for his suit, but having a full red "belt" would make it look better and add more continuity to the red. I mean, I thought that was the simple reason for having those red leg stripes as well and they just leave out the connection of red with the missing part of the "belt". That missing part still baffles me.

I would have really loved to see something happen with the SWAT Lizards. Either Spidey fighting them or them causing havoc on the streets of NY until the antidote cloud shows up.

In the film it just looks like a silly reason to even have an antidote cloud.
