Sequels Concept for a completely different kind of Spider-Man film

Kinda like the events in "Ultimate Spider-man"....

Prime time TV is the way to go, no doubt about it.
Smallville who?
To be honest, I always saw in my head a TV series centering more around Pete and MJ's married life. Pete, teaching high school or some such something. My perfect pilot has always been a story Peter David wrote for a 1996 anthology called "The Ultimate Spider-man" called "Five Minutes".
It's a great story that beautifully chronicles the hardships of being Spider-man's wife. Of watching the evening news night after night and wondering if your husband is coming home. I plan to shoot it someday. Does anyone know the copyright laws surrounding "Fan films"?

boo, I'm so tired of people wanting "realistic" super hero movies. Nothing about them are realistic. You want realism watch the news.

I just want a different take on things. It's not that I demand realism in everything, I just think it's interesting to see a variety of styles or perspectives applied. I don't want a realistic Spider-Man instead of the one we have, but it'd be an interesting to see what an author does with the concept of "Teenage Boy develops Spider-powers; what are the real world consequences?"
