Iron Man 2 Concerns About Iron Man 2

Perhaps the Mark VI with the silver is the first version, with the all gold one being version two, rather than vice versa.

Why is he (supposedly) going through three more Marks throughout the film?

Why is it a bad thing when it happens in a movie, but perfectly acceptable in the comics? he has a ton of armors. Tony is an artist and like most artists, he's never completely happy, he likes modifying his toys, it just work great for marketing because they get to literally make them all toys.

I'm subscribing to the theory concerning the two versions of the Mark VI being a situation where the suit get damaged in an earlier battle and repairs it, but doesn't have time to entirely repaint it so a few parts remain silver.

Too many characters to introduce, too many storylines, too many suits. Until he confirmed that he wasn't, I actually thought this to be kind of a test to see if Favreau could manage many different characters and plots for The Avengers.

I'm sure this'll be great and all, but still... that stuff unsettles me a little. Just have to wait and see.

It could be a test in general to see if this many characters can run around in an Avengers movie. Cap will have the Invaders so it might be possible they're doing it across the board.

My biggest concern is that, I'm going to be out of town the weekend of May 7th, and I don't want to miss the opening!

Ah, I've already scheduled the entire week off(using my vacation days) to coincide with the film's release. I'm gonna OD on it, most likely. I saw the 1st one about a dozen times in theaters.
