If any, what concerns do you have about TDK so far and why? My only concern is the batsuit because it looked really horrible in the new pics we got a few days ago. I was concerned about alot of other things but they grew on me

The suit (Only after seeing the photos) The Joker. With every reveal it's like "Ok, realism that's cool, it will look better from a different angle." Other than those 2 that's about it.

My concern is that people won't go see the movie and we won't get a 3rd movie.

i think the batsuit looks fine. my concern isn't really a concern per se, i'm just wondering what the overall plot will be and how everything we've heard about fits together for me. people talk about SM3 saying they knew everything that was going to happen. i knew the jist of it, the movie ended up being very different than i thought, and that's why it disappointed. but with TDK we know about all kinds of stuff, perhaps ever more than spidey 3 and i still have no idea what's going on. so my concern again is not as much a concern as it is a confusion as to what will be going on.

Actually, the only thing I hope is that the Nolans don't stray from Bruce Wayne too much. My all-time favorite SH films were the ones that focused on the man behind the mask. So, whenever he put the mask on, I knew about him and I could buy his actions.
Begins hit the nail on the head and I hope the same will be with TDK.

The suit, the Joker, and the Batpod are my three biggies.

My only concern are the mutiple Batmen...what are they thinking.

people will see the movie. if it's good it will be critically acclaimed. and if they market it right people will go. so the marketing will bring some in, the reviews will bring others in. even if all the fanboys didn't go (but they will) it will make enough money for a sequel. sh-t, even superman returns is getting a sequel.

that's a good point, they may feel that they built up bruce enough in one and loose sight of what they set up with that movie.

They are thinking they liked Batman # 2 and the Joker's second appearance.

My concern though is Bat Pod.

Suit, joker, plot, fake batmen - I know enough to not be concerned at this point

Joker's skin being white. I want it to be.

That's...pretty much it.

I think Bruce will be appearent in TDK. Bale's already said Bruce will be going through his personal problems, so that's a good thing to asure Bruce will be seen just as the other characters.

Many of us know enough of the script and scenes to know - bruce is featured in the overwhelming majority of scenes, but my concern is since the movie clocks in at basically 330 scenes... that it might be edited in a way that it may lose focus of wayne... so that is a good point.... it will depend what is removed and what not... maybe it'll all stay and we'll be fine, but so many scenes... it's about 100 scenes longer than begins... granted scenes do no = minutes exactly... regardless some concern there.

So not the script itself, but the way the final film is edited, I hope it simply retains Wayne as the MAIN focus and doesn't stray from what we have been leaked.

This film is really starting to seem a lot like Batman Returns - it appears to be a lot darker (perhaps more than some people can handle) what with the hanging fake Batmen, a bomb in some guy's stomach, The Joker going berserk with a machine gun on open street, Batman's "bad cop" interrogation scene, both the Mayor and Loeb biting the bullet...sure, it may sound great for us comic book fans but the general audience might find it a little too much for a PG-13 movie.

Another thing that makes TDK resemble Batman Returns is the amount of changes the film makes to the Batman mythos.

But then again, I loved Batman Returns. Save for the campy and self-parody moments, it had a great story and was a really well-written and acted film. I'm just slightly worried about the reactions of the average moviegoer or more specifically speaking, younger audiences and how it will affect TDK's box office. Otherwise, I am expecting nothing short of yet another amazing film from the Nolan brothers even if it is significantly different from what we expected.

My concern is if they are going to be able to put all this story in one film.

Another concern is with the suit. I love it, but the creases in the crotch and leg area leave to think that the fight scenes will be as closed-up as in Begins...

Yep. That's exactly what the american audience needs. More coddling and hand-holding and sugar coating.

Yeah actually they look kinda stupid but I'll have to see the movie before I judge it

That's kind of the point. They're not supposed to look professional. They're make-shift costumes with a theme. Bats.

It's lack of necessity. Why must we get a new vehicle every film? Just stick with the tumbler.
Yeah thats what I wanted before the batpod was confirmed but then it just kinda grew on me. And I guess nolan put it in there for different car chase scenes

I hope Nolan isn't trying to hard with The Dark Knight. There's just sooooo much going on. It's like he just trying too hard.
