This is a serious question, who would like to see Connor Kent come on to Smallville. I think it would be neat if done right.

Because a charater like that is uneccassary.

How is a character like Connor Kent uneccassary. Please explain in a full paragraph, I'd really like to know why you think that way.

Lets see Conner kent/superboy is[was] a clone of superman[and Lex] created after he died fighting doomsday. why would he be necassary on smallville? what purpose would a character like that serve? This show is about clark kent on a journey from boyhood to manhood, and how he becomes superman through his trials and tribulations. what prupose would 1990s rebellious super teen serve[we already have Kal to]. You give me a reason, why anyone would need to bring in such a utterly unneccasary character like that?

The fact that Connor is a clone of Superman and Lex created *after* Superman DIES fighting Doomsday sorta makes that difficult, unless you just want to make Connor a clone of Clark for the helluvit?

Don't G&M take enough heat from comic aficionados for messing with continuity? You want to drive that last nail into their coffins, doncha?

I think it's a bad idea to bring Connor onto Smallville. The show's already about a coming of age superman teenager. we don't need a second one.

Bringing Connor Kent on to Smallville would be a horrible idea, for all the reason's that have been stated and I personally don't think it would be done in a logical manner. And not to mention the writers are having difficulty spreading out storylines to characters already and it's a little late in the series to add such a major character.

On that note, many years ago before Smallville was created, I once thought I would like to write a show about the adventures of young Connor Kent after the events of the Death of Superman. They were having trouble making a Superman movie at the time, and I just thought it would be a way to keep interest in the character alive while at the same time taking a character like Connor Kent and making the show your own.

I know, right. Everytime they try to do something to make the show there own, people complain. If I were Gough and Miller, I would have said screw it, this show is MY show about a new Clark Kent with a new continuity and sequence of events. I think one of the things that have hurt the show is the flux between the producers trying to make the show fit in line with the Superman movies and trying to make the show there own. They should have said, right from the start, this is an original show about a new Clark Kent/Superman, not the Reeve Superman.

i don't think clark is in the right place for connor yet. I think his exploration of family should begin will jor-el. I think lex is not in that place to want to create a 'super' baby. He isn't even certain clark is super.

I am in the minority of definitley WOULD like to see Connor Kent come to SV. Since Almiles do not following comics they could easily have Connor be Lois and Clark's son.. and have him join the Legion of SuperHereos since that is the prototype of the Justice League..in the far off future..

Now bear with me.. Connor and the Legion could come to SV from the future and to try to save Clark from either Brainac or some other evil villain trying to kill Clark.. much like in STAS.. Connor ends up telling him eveything about who he is to Clark and whom Clark will become. BUt at ehd Clark gets his mind WIPE out in order not to remember everything about his future...

I mean it could work out one way or another.

So you wanna bring in Tim Travel? The only way I was EVER accept time travel on Smallville is if it was like "New Kids on the Block" episodes of STAS...

First off it is CONNER people not Connor. Connor is with Green Arrow. Conner is with Superman. Second having Conner on the show wouldn't work at all because if you read Superboy, Young Justice, Teen Titans. Conner always was hoping to take over the role of Superman once he grew up and looked up to Clark as like an older brother. That being said having him be a clone of Clark and having him be the same age as well would take away from who Conner truly was. Now how ever you could do a Zero Hours type of story line and that would work perfectly (Although in Zero hour its Conner fighting Pre-Crisis Superboy but that could be changed)

Where during a crisis Conner is sent back into to time or Clark into the future but to have him created during the SV time line just wouldn't work.

Like I mention BEFORE, Almiles do not go by comic lore concerning Superman characters. they might change the roles of the characters slightly so otherwise COMIC BOOK character CONNER just MIGHT be slightly different IN SV than in the comic which is what I am getting at.,'

Secondly, I think it might just work and I could see it happening.
