Josh Friedman and Ash Miller both were twittering about the show. Why is it so unbelievable that someone from Scifi channel would, too?
I just think it's a bit silly to cite any social networking site as a news source...I get that you are looking for some hope out there, but it's time to let it go
As others have stated Fox gave this show a chance by giving it great prime time slots for the first 1 and 1/2 seasons. The Friday move was understandable (though ultimately nill, as they never got a solid show on their Monday nights at 8). This isn't like Firefly or Arrested Development where I feel Fox ****ed up a brilliant show and got one off the best shows ever in each's case canceled due to stupidity. This is more like a decent, but extremely flawed show just couldn't catch a big enough of an audience to justify being on a network.
It is too bad. Hopefully Glee will do well.
Dear Friends,
Here is my long overdue thank you note to anyone and every person who has watched our pride and joy Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles… Now that our season is done and I somehow feel far away, I want to say that it wouldn’t have been possible without faithful viewers; and it wouldn’t have been fun to make without such sincere interest from you…
I choose to post my note on Cristelle’s website so that I could also thank her for the beautiful work she has done, on my behalf, for this site. I come here to reminisce from time to time because she has posted so many of my best memories. Thank you Cristelle…
Anyway, I just want to say that acting for anyone who enjoys it is a privilege. Thank you all for helping make that possible. I am devastated that our show will not be back (Jameron forever!!!), but I can’t say that I’m ungrateful for the opportunity to be part of something so special. I’m really proud of what our team put together and eternally thankful to all of you for embracing what we were trying to do…
I love Josh very much and thank him. He pushed to make me part of this cast and created a series that was unique and beautiful. James Middleton held us together, staying with us everyday on set and talking us through every step… John Wirth and Jill Danton are all- stars that I pray I work with again….ALL of our writers. Toni, thank you for giving me Allison from Palmdale…
I was just going through my scripts this morning… (I thought it was time). I picked up-
“Born To Run”

I’m going to miss that so much. I’m really sad…
You know I’m not good at posting things but this is my effort. I’m not very brilliant, witty or poetic like my mentors (you know who they are) but I love you, S
I feel bad for Glau. So talented, but she just can't seem to find an audience.![]()
I think Glau would be better off being added to the cast of an existing show
...DVR numbers don't matter all that much to advertisers as they are smart enough to realize people fast forward through commercials on DVR. The DVR numbers are supplemental to a network. They will not make or break a show. Fans who really believed DVR and online viewings would save this show are fooling themselves.
I agree that it wasn't something that was long for television...it just wasn't the right medium...i enjoyed it while it lasted...
I do feel sorry for Glau, she is easily the most talented and simultaneously most underappreciated member of the cast. After this and Firefly, producers may stay away from her. It's too bad, she's quite talented and I hope she finds success with a hit someday still.

how the heck do you explain dollhouse's pickup then if DVR and online viewings don't matter?
Hm,
I wasn't talking about her devoted fanboy following which loved River Tam and followed her to TSCC. Honestly, seeing her on the show was one of the first things that got my interest about it. And I don't think Cameron was the best character, despite being the most popular. I thought the show did a brilliant job in developing John into a leader in two seasons and is a far more believable and worthy bridge to Christian Bale than how T3 and Nick Sthal handled the duties. I also loved the Derek Reese character and wish he had not died, but it seems moot now anyway.
\In any case though, I was talking in terms of talent. I do believe that the reason Cameron was the most popular is because Glau has a unique screen presence and special charisma and is probably the best actress on the show. I wasn't talking about how popular Cameron is with the fan community and how many fanboys may fantasize about her, I was talking strictly as an actress with a good talent for being able to so convincingly and genuinely emote at that young of an age and being incredibly physical in her body language, blocking, acting, etc. and this stems from her being a dancer which is another plus side for her talent.
Despite playing a character who was emotionless most of the time she brought wry comedy and and charisma to the role, plus being attractive the fans gravitated towards her. She was obviously a supporting character, but the worst episodes in the series were the Sarah-centric ones (visiting a funeral for a whole episode? The alien abduction episode? How about one where we spent an episode of her in a cheesy LA sleep clinic that was in fact a dream within a dream?). The episodes that focused on John growing up or were more action-oriented which meant Derek and Cameron ran point were the better episodes and the most interesting ones were the ones that delved into the action supporting characters, Cameron and Derek's, histories.
But that is neither here nor there. I say underrated in terms of talent. Given her history, Glau was an immediately recognizable talent on Firefly and nearly stole the show from the equally underrated Nathan Fillion in Serenity. Yet, she only gets offers to play more crazy people on 4400 and apparently Unit (I never actually watch that show) and a killer robot in this. Her career seems stuck in eccentric high-concept television shows. I think she has more to offer than that.
In terms of the fan community I do agree Lena is underappreciated, but that was because Sarah was the weakest part of the show.
